My wife and I were travelling through Brittany on a boat and moored right opposite this restaurant. We had had a long day and didn't want to walk far so this place was the obvious choice. We sat al fresco and had a lovely evening. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food and wine were very good and very reasonably priced. Recommended.
good position by harbour. after walking round redon looking for restaurants came back to here as near our mooring. thought it was a pizza house and were pleasantly surprised to find a comprehensive and interesting menu. we went for the 27 euro set meal and i can honestly say it was superb. duck in fig and honey sauce cooked to perfection ,creme brulee caramelised freshly and stiill hot.felt so impressed that i asked the owner in my very bad french to thank the chef .
Went for lunch. Took 12€ formula. Had Carpachio of Beef, Brochette d'Onglet and Frites. Ice Cream with Chantilly. With 25cl of wine and coffee the total was 17€.Frites were not nice, for me. They were not peeled so that gave them a wierd taste, although some people do like them. Was very busy. Service was OK had to ask a couple of times for carafe d'eau and butter etc, Staff friendly. Also doing Moules Frites for 12€ at the moment.
We went first of all for a drink and a snack. Very obliging. So we went with friends the following week. One of our party was waiting for an operation, and needed a special meal. Something very simple, like an omelette . They couldn't have been more helpful. Wonderful food,atmosphere, and staff. Over a beautiful river, lovely view, and prices reasonable. What more could one want
great food and service. lachs, camambert, rumpsteak and cote de veau all well presented with a gott red wine (st chinian.) service was efficient and friendly and I had the best cup coffee so far after two weeks in france. highly recommended.

an excellent restaurant with a fine kitchen. I would regain a believer.
