Set in the heart of Mirepoix - a charming small Very French town - If you want to travel to another country and can't manage the local fare, perhaps this is for you. We visited on market day which is exceptionally busy, this was the first place we could get a seat. Service was pleasant but slow. We were unfortunate enough to pick a table near the toilets so always seemed to have a couple of people queuing beside our table. One person happened to mention to a waitress that the toilet paper had run out - we didn't see it it replenished in the time we were there. There were lots of full English breakfasts being served so there is obviously a demand for what they do, just not my cup of tea.

Je me suis installé dans cet établissement pour boire un café. La patronne est anglaise et très accueillante. On baigne dans une atmosphère britannique très sympathique. Le café est délicieux et bon marché.
Des produits frais, des assiettes copieuses et très légères. Un petit restaurant trés sympa avec des personnes très sympathique dans un environnement anglais. A découvrir !!
Repas assez bon, salade bien assaisonnée, le burger bon seul bémol le steak que je n'ai pas trop aimé, sinon services rapide
I was visiting Mirepoix with a friend. She lives in the area and recommended this little cafe. It looks into the medieval square of this ancient town. The owners appear to be English and serve good English fare, including a full English breakfast ( including one for vegetarians). The are many other lighter options; toast, scones, toasties etc... Friendly service. It is s good spot to watch the world go by.
Very poor lunch considering it was only a salad!need to look at the quality and presentation....wouldn't recommend or go back.poor.
A little gem for expats who feel a little nostalgic on occasions. The full english breakfast with fried bread and brown HP sauce is great for a change from the healthy French habit of lettuce with nearly every meal, even if it does clog up the arteries.The also do themed nights particularly proper fish and chips and the odd curry evening.Well worth a visit if you are in Mirepoix and feeling nostalgic.
