La Farigoule - Gordes

De passage dans la région, nous avons découvert cette jolie pépite !Ce restaurant est un vrai trésor caché, nous avons passé un excellent moment avec ma compagne, un cadre très cosy avec de joli poutres apparentes, la serveuse très agréable et à l'écoute.Côté cuisine c'est un régal, une brandade de morue à la Nimoise, très goûteuse et légère à souhait.Un Rumsteck avec une superbe cuisson, une sauce bien travaillé autour du poivre vert et des baies roses, un risotto d'épeautre et lentilles très original et agréable. Bravo !Le cabillaud et sa sauce paprika fumée était également géniale !!Crumble au pomme pour madame et coulant au chocolat pour moi, très bien également.Bref nous recommandons vivement merci à vous.

We chose this venue as it was just outside Gordes - which is very busy - and it was a great stop off point on our cycle ride. The venue is off the main road - but very peaceful and cool - we sat outside under the bamboo canopy. We went for the 3 course lunch menu and were not disappointed - in fact it was the best food we had in the Luberon. Each course was beautifully presented and very generous. We had the terrine and tuna carpaccio to start followed by an exquisite scallop ravioli and lamb steak. The desserts were magnificent. Service was great and the price very reasonable. A real find - highly recommended.
