restaurant very well placed, in the heart of gordes. welcome despite the present world. very affordable prices...we highlight the good value for money! For a little hunger like a huge one, it was suitable.

We came to drink a drink in the afternoon and the waiter brings us the glasses already filled with coca and perrier, so I don't know if it comes from a can, a bottle!!!! I don't like at all this kind of service, I won't come back. :-(

On a family visit on gordes, we made an excellent finding by stopping in this restaurant. We were very welcome on the terrace. the dish of the day, dorade with the risotto d’épeautre is excellent. very well garnished salads, and quality meats. children as adults, everyone enjoyed it.

have taken a break break in the middle of the afternoon, the sandwich formula dessert drink is of an excellent value price (7,50€) . You can easily find a small table outside. The seller is very nice. Bravo! in this village where everything is a little overrated is a pleasant surprise!

a nice discovery...a menu from noon to 29 euros...a real treat, a warm and discreet welcome...a tasting of olive oil in the preamble sharpened our palaces...a very nice idea...from the entrances to the main dish, no false note...delicious and fresh...sign of large tables...thank you for this moment...continue like this, do not change anything

It's the first time we were there, in gordes, at lunchtime. It is true that the reputation of the village for high prices of meals discouraged us from coming to eat.But as this restaurant makes bar at the same time, and that in the occasion of our previous stopovers we had excellent service at reasonable prices, we decided to eat there. Well, we've taken it. frankly the products offered and prepared by Roman are of an irreproachable quality and cooked wonderfully. only fresh and prepared products to order. prices are below the market for what is found in the plate. when at service, gwendoline gives the impression of getting dug, including its smile and its ampness. always listening, and this despite a full room. We keep this address where we will not fail to come back for pleasure.

Visité Bellesta et Chez Pierre (pas comme orthographié sur Tripadvisor). Caché dans une rue pavée mais signé de la route, ce restaurant merveilleusement local propose 4 menus à prix fixe comprenant un apéritif, 3 plats, du pain, des olives, du vin, du café et de la liqueur locale. Je peux recommander les boulettes de viande copieuses rustiques avec des haricots blancs. Une petite terrasse offre une vue imprenable - bien ombragée pour les journées chaudes. Nous avons visité en novembre, nous étions donc confortables à l'intérieur.

Le Chauve Sourit

Le Chauve Sourit has a gorgeous situation up above Cabrieres. The new hedge/ fence does obscure the previously open view across to the Alpilles but gives a more intimate feel to the lovely outdoor space - there is indoor space for bad weather days.This year, I visited several times with different friends and each evening was delightful. A great July 14th celebration - we were serenaded by 3 local lasses doing wonderful 50's numbers with clothes to match. Another night we had a keyboard and base duo - Thursday nights are jazz nights - and really good.Add to that a warm welcome and a good variety of reasonably priced good food, generous portions (suggest you share starter salad - the warm goats cheese one was my favourite) and you have a great local restaurant. You deserve to do well and as regulars in summer we really hope you do. We'll be back next year.
