La Belle Etoile - Villefranche-sur-Mer

Enchanting white tablecloth restaurant with the most gracious staff ever! Owned by a lovely lady named Tamara (and her husband, chef) who is as sweet as she is beautiful. We had a little of everything on the menu and all was delectable. Tamara even invited us back for a complimentary glass of bubbly! Highly recommend this one for a unique French experience!

We absolutely loved Le Belle Etoile. We ate there twice and the food was exceptional on both occaisons. The service was also excellent and the restaurant itself is fresh and modern. I can't speak highly enough of it. In a town that's full of restuarants, La Belle Etoile really stands out.

This is a restaurant located slightly off the well-worn path, still only couple of steps away from the seafront.I tried the crab ravioli (picture attached), the fish. Both were magnifique.The service was very good as well. The lady (apparently the couple that owns the place) let me have the nicest table outside. We were romantically sat outdoors in a narrow street with rose wine.Will be returning for sure.

Une cuisine moins inventive mais de qualité, travaillée avec des produits frais. Une carte et un menu restreint mais qui assurent la qualité. Le cadre comme l'accueil sont toujours aussi sympathiques. Le dressage de la table est de belle facture. Vous passerez un bon moment dans cette atmosphère soignée , dans un lieu atypique.

Lieu charmant, service très pro et attentionné, bonne cuisine avec une carte restreinte, nous conseillons !

On a two week holiday in Villefranche sur Mer with our adult daughter and her partner we made a total of three visits to this wonderful restaurant. Small but perfectly formed in a quiet street. Food is fabulous. Locally sourced produce absolutely inspired in the way it is prepared and cooked to perfection. Flavour combinations were mouth watering. Service couldn't be better. The charming waiter and waitress were very attentive and clearly delighted we had returned each time. They even adjusted the menu to ensure a particular item was not repeated. Breath of fresh air. If you go to one restaurant only in Villefranche make it this one.

We visited the restaurant on Easter. We had Easter special. The young chef is very creative. His dishes are very artistic and delicious. His wife is a great host. I wish to visit them often. Enjoy the unique experience!
