L'Arti, Mountain Restaurant - Tignes

There are many very good restaurants in Tignes but L'Art certainly sticks out. Excellent and well presented food! Very friendly service and helpful explanation of the menu. We will certainly be back in the next winter season.

Went here in March on the chalet staff's night off based on some reviews seen on here and the look of the menu (not just Savoyard fare/pizzas/pastas, unlike most other places in Tignes) in a group of 4 adults and 2 fussy boys aged 7 & 9. We were made to feel welcome, service was excellent and they went out of their way to accommodate the fussy boys, turning what looked like an interesting twist on a burger (apple, blue cheese) into something plain to suit their tastes. The adults thoroughly enjoyed the menu though: we savoured things like crab tempura, and fois gras for starters, the Iberico porc and char from the main menu, with two of us trying the mushroom and white wine fondue, which got the thumps up and was a few cuts above the typical Savoyard fondue. Desserts were out of this world too, from chocolate 3 ways to a pistachio concoction. Modern food, beautifully prepared and plated with stunning flavours. Wine list was excellent too and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Excellent restaurant located in the "square" at Tignes-Lavachet, on the Val Claret-Lac-Lavachet free bus route. We only had to walk across the road from our hotel but now that we know how good this restaurant is, we would certainly make the effort to travel.We would agree with all the positives in previous reviews with regard to the quality of food, menu options, welcome and ambiance, and in contrast to one, we enjoyed the lighting level and decor. You get fed up of sitting in a penumbra unable to see what you are eating - and here it is worth seeing! Your meal is beautifully presented and tasted even better.Finish with a re-invented Paris-Brest as others have suggested or the financier!We thought it reasonably priced with excellent service without pretension.Can't recommend this place high enough.

Been there three times in one week. Every time tried something else, and everything was very tasty. Would definitely recommend snails and lobster tartar for starter, and for main course you practically can't go wrong. I'll definitely come back.

Really good food at reasonable prices. Some Savoyard specialties with a twist and excellent, original choices that change every 3-4 weeks. Really friendly service.

Excellent food, friendly staff, the deco is a bit out of place but the food is great, try the Iberian pork and the desserts!

We were recommended this restaurant by the lady who runs La Soli in Tignes and we were totally blown away by the friendliness of the staff, the cosy atmosphere and the mouth watering food, I have eaten there twice with friends and they were all really impressed.

Recommended by a local I met in a nearby bar. Nice contemporary environment. Great service excellent food beautifully presented. Maybe a little pricey for some, but in my view, value for money. Photo of my starter, snails done in a different way.
