L'Eterlou - Tignes

Great food, lovely staff, decent value. We went here on our chalet night off. Starters, we had charcuterie plates - really nice. We had the house wine, very reasonable and drinkable red. For food, one had a pizza, the rest of us had entrecote and pepper steaks for mains - all brilliantly cooked. Having seen the tartiflette and raclette options at the next table, we had food envy !!!

Been to Tignes 3 times. Been to this restaurant 6 times. That says it all. Try the fondue. Friendly staff

Ate here one night during a boys ski trip . Food is very average . The 'cook your own steak ' over mini BBQ is a bit of a gimmick , and the dauphinoise potatoes served with them lacked taste or seasoning . Had to attack it with a salt & pepper pot !Tarteflette required two people min to order which implied some sort of fresh cooking but that's not the case . Just that it is in a big dish for two and it's not worth them defrosting it for one ! Arrived bubbling cheese but stone cold inside ! Sent back by my friends and it returned hot but cold food on their plates was thrown away and not replaced . No real apology . People who has pizza said it was ok .. just ok .Owner I assume came over and said 'Savva' . When we said no ( because of cold food ) he just retreated and said nothing . Least we could have expected is a discount off the food or a free drink . Nothing!We gave waiter a tip as it wasn't his fault but on quality of food it wasn't worth it . We are Tignes regulars and have eaten in most places but this is not special . Far better places .

We had dinner in L'eterlou on 3 consecutive nights, the menu was extensive and food was excellent, the steak was succulent with fresh vegetables & potato gratin to die for.. The owner is good fun & great friendly staff.. would highly recommend eating here

Brilliant 'cook it yourself' steak on hot coals with gratin potatoes. It was so yummy and we left well and truly stuffed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely return if skiing in Tignes again.

Called in here as a group of 4 after a full day's skiing as 2 of the group wanted typical Savoie food before they went home.A reasonable choice on the menu but our group stuck to Raclette and Tartiflette. We were the only non-French in the place which we felt was a good sign and we were correct. Simple local food done very well. Warm and filling after a day of using a lot of calories on the slope which is just what we wanted.The meal for 4 of us with a small bottle of wine was 70 euros and that is very reasonable for a ski resort.Exactly what we wanted.

A well priced savoyarde restaurant with friendly owners and staff that handled our group of 14 with ease and no mistakes. Perfect for the chalet staff night off.
