La Creperie des Lavoirs - Pontrieux

Warm welcome and shown to a lovely seat inside by the window,,,,,,our French friend was disappointed as she wanted fish and chips, which is only available on Fridays.I chose mussels with a curry sauce, which came with chips, and was the biggest portion I have had in all my time in France.....Our French friend chose the goats cheese salad, which she said was really good. My husband a steak which was beautifully presented, but he said a trifle 'tough' but chose not to say anything....We all had ice creamIt really was a lovely lunch, good company, and we will be back again in the autumn....

A small Creperie in the upper square of the delightful small town of Pontrieux.Whilst there is a small seating area outside, my husband and I chose to sit inside. It was smallish and unprepossessing but spotlessly clean. There were only two people working the chap waiting on all the tables and his wife (I believe) doing all the cooking in the kitchen. Thus service was a trifle slow, but nevertheless attentive.We both chose the warm goats' cheese salad with walnuts. The food was well presented and plentiful and we enjoyed it immensely, in fact the best goats' cheese salad we have eaten either in France or the UK! My husband had ice cream to follow and coffee, I had a small pichet of red wine, and the total bill was 11 euros. Very good value indeed.

This small Creperie in Pontrieux is well worth a call. Relatively inexpensive food provided by a small family. Situated on the town square with free parking opposite a delightful place for coffee or food. Across the way you will see the entrance to 'Les Lavoirs'. This is on the small river where the washerwomen have small outhouses on the river bank where they do the washing for the rich folk. You can get a nice little cruise up and down the river in a boat with and electric motor. Enchanting and not expensive.

After very poor food on our visit last year I'm pleased to say the standard has improved and is back to an acceptable standard! Simple Breton food cooked well. Moules Breton and frites is highly recommended!

This is a nice little place on the central square in Pontrieux. The menu choices are pretty varied, and include some veggie options. Service was prompt and friendly, and the food was good. Except on market day (Monday AM), there is free parking in the...central square. The areas around the town also are free to park.

This is a centrally located creperie which does other dishes as well. The service is a bit slow, but friendly. Quality of the food is excellent. Whenever in the area, we'll be back.

I don’t like to write bad reviews but I feel I need to share my experience so you don’t have to waste your time and money. We waited nearly half an hour for crepes and when trying to ask the moody waiters they completely...ignored us. When we finally got the attention of one of them she was quite rude. The food came coldish and not even good quality. If the crepes would have been good I wouldn’t have written this review. You can find better.
