Tout est fait maison. le daube de boar divin au point de prendre du pain pr la sauce dans le pot, les légumes fondants, et le gratin de riz crémeux une découverte étonnante, qui disent de ce délicieux dessert de chocolat à l'exception d'un festin. Tout était parfait. Parking à côté. un endroit simple mais chaleureux. un personnel de chambre très attentif à leurs clients tout en étant discret. Ns ont un bon moment.

Not the most beautiful restaurant, the decoration is kind of minimalist. There is a outside area looking on the place du village. La patronne is running the restaurant for the last 25 years and she speaks English, the staff is friendly and professional.There is a few options on the menu we resided to go for the 25 euros option. You get a choice of 3 starters 3 main course, cheese and a choice of dessert.I opted for the cooked mussels with Chorizo, that was delicious. My friend had the salad gourmand with foi gras, duck gesier and duck breast. That was also very testy.My main dish was a shoulder of lamb confit in a cocotte that was succulent. There was also a trio of fish and a sea bass. All the portions were generous. The cheese was served from a trolley, nice selection from local cheese. My dessert was a charlotte aux chocolats. Win is selected from the win list or from the win of the week.Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Was a great experience. Lunch and dinner can be busy so better book.

Just back from an excellent lunch at Hostellerie D'Oc with my family. Everything about it was fantastic - good value, high quality food, full of flavour. The 13 euro lunch is the deal of the region. Three good-sized, delicious courses, with wine included! And all served by friendly staff who are really attentive and professional. We've also been here several times in the evenings to sample other mouth-watering set menus - and it's consistently brilliant. Local produce, beautifully cooked, great atmosphere and brilliant place to really get to know life in this rural Tarn village. Wine list is great too. Really is the best restaurant around and I fully recommend it to anyone living locally or passing through on holiday. Don't miss it!

We have just returned from having dinner at this lovely restaurant. The atmosphere was calm and elegant, the decor was very pleasing. Our meal was absolutely delicious, the servings were a good size. The service was excellent, friendly, unobtrusive. We will definitely be back and bring visitors with us.

Overcooked sludge - nothing like what is advertised on their website. What is the Michelin guide thinking!!?

I was invited by my aunt at the Hostellerie d'Oc that I knew before it was then over by Sandrine and Marc. Now this is superb turnaround in terms of the quality of the food. We had a great starter, full of local charcuterie and I took the Cod. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the fish was perfect, the portions generous. The dessert was also excellent. This is the type of restaurant my English or foreign friends would love: it is good cuisine, good portions, with a local flavour yet modern.In addition to this, we had the 13/euros per person menu: overall the best value meal in terms of quality and price, I ever had for a long time in the area.Finally a comment on the team, flexible, friendly, funny, good company hard working people.WHEN YOU ARE AROUND CASTRES/MAZAMET, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. I LOVED IT.

It has been a couple of years since we have been here, and we can't remember why we had not been more regularly. The restaurant itself is a little rustic, and being one large main room can echo a bit, however the atmosphere is good and the friendliness of the owner and her team was excellent. The meals are sensibly priced, well portioned and served with the right pace. Each member of the team served and checked on us and each with a smile and genuine warmth. Food is simple and hearty, again excellent in every way. They have a good formula here that is obviously popular, and we can highly recommend.
