We had a fantastic meal here on our last night and the wine was sublime. There was a live singer early on, followed by a DJ. This isn't normally my thing but the music was mellow and gave a nice clubby feel to the place and was great for dancing.
Visited for a drink mid afternoon on our last day of a week in Avoriaz - so can't comment on food or evening ambienceSat at the bar for a couple of hours - very quiet but maybe that is due to it being change over day? Service was very good and friendly - though they are clearly trying hard to be as 'tres chic' as possible Prices pretty high even for Avoriaz standards but that's ok if you get value which in this day I felt we didNice nibbles served with drinks. Right at the bottom of town so it is a little but if a trek back if staying in chalets at the top which we were The view from the bar is fantastic so all in all a great place for quiet late afternoon drink after a hard day skiing
We walked in and got a table immediately with no fuss. The waiters were really nice - helful and funny. The chips are really nice here and I had a really delicious burger with fois gras on top. They can do kids portions of most meals, and our kids loved the burger and chips and tomato pasta. The restaurant has a pub adjoining and hence a good atmosphere. There was also entertainment from a nice singer who milled about the restaurant which our kids loved! Would definitely recommend, a tiny bit on the expensive side but worth it.

Juan who served us was such a good host. Really looked after us well and made the whole experience very enjoyable. He's how I wish all waiting staff should be. Two of our party had gluten allergies and made sure their needs were accommodated for.We went here twice during our one week and the standard of food was high, both visually enticing and very tasty. I highly recommend and it's worth checking out.
Situated just below the bottoms of the high street at the Place des Ruches, La Cabane is a hidden gem. It combines a restaurant, bar, dancing and acne a games of pool with effortless grace and the best service.We have visited La Cabane several times and it never fails to impress.I have, as a result, discovered some new gin and tonics, (Monkey 47 and Elephant in particular).Brno, Joe and the rest of the team really understand the meaning of service, super friendly, welcoming, but not too intrusive.The food is wonderful, notably the sushi, not something you would expect of such high quality in the Alps, but it was outstanding.Live music over dinner, a good range of music for all tastes to dance to later and, even a very friendly and understanding doorman.I love this place and I love the team ethic and friendliness of all the staff.I will always put La Cabane at the top of my list for evenings out in Avoriaz.
