pleasant environment, perfect kitchen; staff should be more careful of themselves. In addition to details, a site to be booked for wedding or engagement.

Sleeping at the hotel, we had dinner with pleasure in the garden of this so charming place. the atmosphere is very pleasant, the quality of the dishes and the excellent service. very good gourmet restaurant at the gates of medieval city. However, the addition was a little high.

Elegant dining room that we couldn't enjoy, with the guests invited to have dinner in this beautiful and vast garden treed and blossomed, even if in mid-August, the evenings are already a little fresh. We took the menu at 39€. velvety eggplant with its foie gras chips. amazing, but wanted: excellent!paved of cooked tuna as we had wished. Well, but classic! Charlotte with too much meringue. In general, a good meal! only inconvenience: a very slow service. more than 2 hours for a 3-service meal while we were the first to be attable. at the fall of the night, the frilees benefit from a plaid, it is already that, but this little be considered uncomfortable at the table for some.Trop few staff for the mass of customers. He kept me from the fact that the boss, all of her business, kept the smile and her friendliness. This is not the main one. With the wine (belle carte), the addition quickly climbs to 150€ (2 people) good memory despite the night chills!

expensive but not terrible because for 60 euros per person (we were 2 ), so 120 euros wine and aperitif included we expected better! Inside a sprinkled potage with 3 dice of cooked foie gras that is despairfully sought at the bottom of the greenish coulis arranged in the plate are chained chicken and salmon sleeves with the oseille served with 3 insignificant vegetables, a lost bread dessert and a half glass of bad red each. The homemade cocktail is rather a kir composed of a low-end mousseux with a cream of red fruit served at room temperature, with for accompaniment a half egg of caille 3 cubes of pasteque and a dry leaf that will serve more to a hot shell decor! It's starting badly!.it's reported that the kir is hot instead of replacing the sparkler with a fresh liquid we add in our glass: ice cubes; It cuts the bubbles! The service is up to the kitchen with a server that takes it for the respnsable and speaks loudly by decoding the jokes of the restaurant's hupped customers. It's the second time in 5 years that I go to this restaurant and I have been disappointed every time. A little respect for French cuisine good blood!I will not recommend to friends!not a good idea for a gift card!

This is proberly one of the best resturants in Montlucon. We went here a pax of 8 to a business dinner. I arrived early waiting for the rest of the party. As I do not speak french it was imposible to communicate with the staff. As a result I was waiting outside (lovely surroundings) for 20 minutes, not once was I offered to order a drink. Strange and not okOnce all 8 was seated the servings started. bread missing at one plate, we had to continously pour our own wine and ran out more than once wich is not ok, slow service and not living up to the standard of the placeFood it self was very good, all servings was well prepared, well presented and tasteful, the real star of the show is definantly the food. We had the suggested menu of a soup with Foi Gras, free range stuffed turkey and french selection of cheese. For 40 EUR/pax really good value and worth every penny for sureLocation in the center of the old town is very nice and charming, a gem of a locationWould be happy to go back and feel torn in giving such a mixed review but service needs to step up to really let the place shine. great potential in food and location
