Visited many times always good service .Portions are generous and always tasty.I would recommend the menu. The house wine and all the starters are excellent the nems and the assiette gourmand are my favourites, also try the sticky ribs if they have them.

We attended the annual Toques et Clochers and found this oasis of quiet. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, the food was tasty and served with care. We would go again.

As it is a ritual for me to look up on the TripAdvisor list for places to go and on this day turned out to be Perle d'Orient for the lunch. Had it not be for some of the raving reviews probably I would have never bothered by looking at the establishment from outside! But despite of having a mix feeling overall glad that I did and can judge if for for myself. The decor as well as being typical of most little Chinese resaurants we more or less encounter globally is very tired so much so that in my opinion the hygiene levels were not satisfactory . The toilet room of any restaurant is representative of the cleanliness of the place and on this alone didn't impress. More over once washed my hands with the only cold water supply couldn't bring myself to touch the towels that did not appear to be fresh ! The set up of the only toilet in the place is not child or disabled friendly on all accounts too. The shelves at the bottom end of the room in the little booth like are old and there are considered not to be hygienic, not to mention the poor method of cramping stuff everywhere at the end .Service was go and fetch kind of affair and the food was tasty and though wasn't cheap wasn't expensive either depending one point of view but certainly wasn't as thrilling as some fellow readers commented ! Finally it was good enough for all its worth and yes I might go back if Chinese was what I fancied on the day .

We eat at lunchtime and chose the three course 16,99€ menu. The interior has a fairly typical Vietnamese / Chinese restaurant theme and is very pleasant.Tables are well spaced. The waitress was very friendly, charming and efficient. The Assiette Gourmand starter consists of crab claws, nems spring rolls etc. A lovely starter with lots of different tastes. The main course of 'laquered duck' was absoloutely gorgeous. Beautifully cooked and a good portion size too.I finished off with lychees and my wife had the cooked banana. To drink, we chose a half litre of the house wine, which was nice.A lovely meal; to be repeated!

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant, I wasn't disappointed in anyway! I'm completely addicted to the nems. So tasty....with the mint and lettuce leaf wrapped around the prawn nems, a complete taste sensation. My BF decided to try the curried frogs legs, which were enormous and tasted exactly like chicken. I'm very much looking forward to going back to this restaurant again and trying out some of their other dishes. The menu had a good selection and you could also choose from the set menu at very reasonable prices. The service was friendly and welcoming

A favorite spot for curing cravings for Oriental food. Full menu and a la carte options, tons of choices, excellent service. Highlights: salads, nems (spring rolls), spicy chicken, desserts. Note* no credit cards accepted.

This small restaurant was only a short walk from our hotel and influenced by Trip Advisor reviews we opted for the 21 euro menu. We were greeted by friendly staff and made to feel very welcome. This menu has a house cocktail included and pleasant it was too, a lychee concoction. The first course of the mixed Assiette Gourmande was very generous and equally enjoyable. This was followed by dim sum and then the main course, again generous but very tasty. Any sweet off the menu is included and I enjoyed a creamy Café Liegeois whilst my wife just managed a coffee. The house wine was extremely palatable and good value at 10 euros a litre.Next time - and there will be - we will try the 15.50 euro menu as I bet it will be worth it. The staff were equally friendly on departure, possibly a whole family affair? During our visit, there was also a steady trade in take-away customers. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Went to this restaurant based on a review I read on Tripadvisors. At first I was a bit hesitant to go inside because there was nobody there and the restaurant was not so big. I am glad we decided to eat here. We choose the 21 euro menu which gave us 4 courses and it was a lot. The food all tasted very good and the service was very friendly even though our French is not that good. For my main course I had the Beef Luc Lac. The beef was very tender and the sauce that came with is was delicious. My boyfriend had a course with three sea food, also very delicious according to him. Would totally recommend this to anyone!
