Looks like it stepped right out of the 1950s with the bar, pool table, run down look, etc. Gaggle of locals enjoying themselves at the zinc who all turn to look when a stranger ambles in. Got a decent morning cup of coffee and the bar man was polite. Left as quickly as was reasonable.
Please avoid this establishment when in Limoux. We have had many lunches and dinners in this part of France but would suggest you avoid this place. The woman who served us was rude and couldn't be bothered with us - no bread was brought to the table and we had to go looking for her for her after our meal - no offer of a dessert, coffee or the bill. Poor service and the food was only very average.
Stopped off for lunch. This is a decent local bar/restaurant. It has a steady custom and there were a number of locals who were obviously regulars. The service was polite and friendly. We all had salads which were well presented, very large and tasty. I ate the duck gizzard salad which was good. Cost was reasonable and the afternoon was very pleasant. If your passing it's not without merit.
I was dumped in Limoux by the bus company instead of Carcassonne. With an hour or so to wait for my connection i wandered along the main road.Soon i reached this Brasserie just as they were getting into the lunchtime vibe.A very jolly young man took my order and directed me to the buffet to select an entreé. There were at least a dozen items to choose from; you could make a complete meal just from these !I chose four or five including smoked mackerel, avocados and hardboiled eggs with salad.The plat du jour was delicious stuffed tomatoes and peppers with ample saffron rice.Dessert was from another buffet selection; i chose a marvellous Apricot Tart.All this was for 13 Euros. which included 25cl of pleasant Rosé wine !Abut half the price of the equivalent meal in Carcassonne );Highly recommended !!
Très bon accueil, professionnel et très serviable et dévoué. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Cuisine simple et raffinée élaborée composer de produits frais de qualité.
Le Tivoli se un endroit magnifique avec la des belles maison le jardins magnifique tout les arrangements des fleurs que vous voyez se moi dans le jardin de ma meilleure amie e je coupe des fleurs pour me faire un joli bouquet le Tivoli ne pas un café se un endroit a Longuy Haut que on appelle Tivoli les fleurs se moi je fais les bouquets car la nature la terre il faudra préserver bonjour Longwyviciens au Tivoli
