Great food and ambience but too many young children in the main dining room. They have the room and facility to offer parents alternative spaces so that the older generation who are paying a lot of money for their food and wine can have a quieter experience
The restaurant? not bad. The food? Mediocre at best. The service? The worst ever experience in a restaurant. Rude, impolite, uneducated bunch of waitresses. WORST EVER!
Staying in this delightful and quirky hotel is always a pleasure but the food is now truely excellent. There is a very good set meal for €30 but it's best to look at the blackboard ...real pleasures await. At last we were there at the correct time to enjoy local prés salés lamb! Carre d'agneau cooked to perfection on a bed of local salicorne ( samphire) and oreliers d' cochon ( sea aster leaves) with a large tasty carrot ..all local produce with superb flavour. It was also a huge meal, the stuff you can get your fork into. I followed with local strawberries with a tomato and basil sorbet. Wow! Great service from the friendly team and organic wines. We love it all, and the breakfasts are a pleasure too.
You cannot spend tile in the Baie de Somme without visiting the Tourelles. A local classic. A little pricey on the food end, but totally worth it. Good licavore menu, and the greatest chill-out cafe-bar. I couldnt recommend it highly enough!
We stayed with 5 couples in the hotel Les Tourelles and had diner twice in the hotel. During diner one of my friends made a comment "this is the worst plate ever" when asking how his chicken émincé tasted... also de shripm croquettes tasted to something strange as did the crab... for that price, one expects much better food, certainly in France.We will return to the hotel, but NOT to the restaurant.
...to stop here for an aperitif after the weekly market. Nice people, best view over the bay. Never staid here overnight but heard a lot of good about it.
Staying at the hotel decided to have dinner at the hotel. the restaurant has a lot of character like the rest of the hotel. service was very good, food good and mostly classic dishes.
Have been going to this hotel for many years for short breaks. Rooms fairly basic, shabby chick, very comfortable. Food is excellent, not a wide menue but excellent. Small but good outside space for a beer and watch the world go by in he front of the hotel. Some of the team speak a little English.
