L'Antiquaire - Laval

A l'occasion d'un repas en amoureux, nous avons découvert l'Antiquaire hier soir. Que dire hormis que nous avons passée une excellente soirée. Le cadre est très agréable, le personnel à l'écoute et très sympathique. Les assiettes proposées sont aussi belles au regard que bonnes au palais. Un petit mot du Chef au moment du départ... Sympa. Bref, un établissement à recommander chaleureusement pour une soirée sur Laval.

a must-see restaurant in the Lavaloise region. menus are reasonable and vary over the seasons. we will return to the antique shop to open the gastronomic cuisine to our children. Both the quality of service and the little word of the chef during the evening ended our ultra positive opinion.

dinner with friends, we took the surprise discovery menu!Excellent on all points, selection of perfect dishes! The fatty faith is succulent, the bar tartare to fall...Discoveries of association of remarkable flavor! the flat is on the decoration, the whole is not very warm, quite banal is not in agreement with the originality of the kitchen. I recommend without hesity this restaurant if you are an amateur of refined cuisine.

Discovered on the advice of a laval restorer, the antiquary seduced us! fresh products with well-advanced flavours (small excellent vegetables), just sauces that bring an original touch without masking the taste of the main ingredient. a real know-how!all was delicious: original foie gras, bar tartare, lamb or sandre and sumptuous desserts!and excellent value for money! only small point to improve: a little more user-friendliness in the service. very pro, but too conventional. It does not prevent me from strongly advising you this restaurant

Made with research and of course with fresh products. Some remarks:We live periods of great heat and it will be necessary to adapt. High quality champagne and white wine were served in glass at room temperature. which makes that part of their tasteful flavor disappeared quickly: cooling the glasses is not yet in our moods!!The room where we were overheated and it is not the opening of the window that changed this atmosphere: consider a air conditioning!!!This restaurant with a good reputation on the gastronomy plane also an effort should be made to ensure that the staff evening trained in the rules of service: serve the oldest woman not always. we had taken the gourmet menu, everything was good from mouth to mouth to dessert (the chocolate pannacotta was delicious, we recommend it) ! excellent value for money with welcoming staff. small plus for the terrace frame that is very pleasant!

pleasant setting, simple and sober decoration. very professional service. a good card, whose menu from noon to €14.90 is interesting, good value for money. very good products and seasonings, nicely erect on plate. Nothing to say about the kitchen! It is an establishment that I recommend, but it is not a blow of heart (small lack of friendliness to my taste). despite all, one of the best restaurants in terms of flavors at the laval.
