We visited this nice place at noon on 26/7. We had salade Alsacienn and a bottle of pinot gris. The atmosphere was very nice and the garden with rolling roof outstanding. The waiters were friendly and quick, bust most off all: The food was fantastic. Welltasting and enough for a man on biketour.Go there;-)))

We were looking for lunch in Kaysersberg and were attracted by the colourful umbrellas and the €12 Formulae at the front of Le Capucin. It was too hot to sit in the front and discovered a cool oasis in the back. The meal was excellent and great value. We were served an entree of egg with mayonnaise, mains were chicken with Alsacian pasta and a peach melba for dessert. It was all very fresh and delicious. We were trying to decide on wine and the waiter was a bit unsure of our questions. A woman sitting at the table next to us started to give advice to us and to the waiter. It turned out she was the owner enjoying lunch with a friend. She suggested a Sylvaner and organised a bottle for us to taste. It was a great recommendation. You could not fault the service, the meal and the value for money.

The hospitality is great, the stuff is kind and helpful, the plates are well cooked and tasty, the prices are good enough (around 20 Euros per person without the drinks), the terrace offers lovely views of the river (or the street) and the decoration is nice. what else can a visitor asks from a bar/restaurant?.... reccomended!

A lovely ambiance in the restaurant & friendly staff. It was also reasonably priced for an otherwise expensive tourist town. The restaurant specialises in "Tartes Flambes Sallees" and these are really good. We tried the bacon & cheese tarte and the goats cheese salad, both of which were delicious. The house wine was reasonably priced.. All in all it was a lovely meal looking out of the window at the centre of a very pretty town.

Had a lovely tart with frites, pretty setting in the glassed-in back patio. We had good prompt service, very reasonable prices. Other patrons were feeding more substantial meals, all the food looked wonderful

Liked our lunch of a local dish - tourte aux vigneronnes - and enjoyed their plant filled glass extension on a not very hot day. We observed people eating good-looking tartes flambees! We would return for lunch. Nice waiter with respectable English!
