La Petite Idée - Grenoble

De passage sur Grenoble, moment de partage avec ma fille. Nous avons choisi La Petite Idée pour le tartare de bœuf à la carte, et nous n'avons pas été déçu. Accueil chaleureux et agréable, service rapide et attentif. Le tartare était très bon tout comme le gratin dauphinois qui l'accompagnait. Je recommande et y retournerai à l'occasion en prenant soin de réserver car la salle était pleine des l'ouverture à 19h.

Grenoble seemed a not very interesting city so it was a pleasant surprise to find this small family restaurant. We ate the set menu which had good choices. The food was delicious and we had a lovely time

We got in here by the skin of our teeth so it's best to book. Both the service and the food here is really good. You won't be disappointed!

Nice and cute little resto (12 tables max. for around 30 persons.) The food is wonderful and the cuisine is very typically French. The price is average, 56 € for 2 person meal with wine and dessert. Fully recommend.

A very tasty salad as a starter, great charcuterie and cheese as a main, and a very professional waiter!

This restaurant is very small (area wise) but provides a great experience. The food is delicious and the staff very friendly. This is the restaurant I take people to that want to try some French food.

Visiting from England, we went on the high rating from TripAdvisor, and we weren't disappointed. Thanks, fellow reviewers! I would recommend the salads, one we had as a starter was excellent. The cod was delicious, cooked with a wonderfully fresh tomato, served with veg and incredibly creamy dauphinois potatoes. The Chablis is also worth a try. The waiter was very helpful, and indulged our poor attempts to speak French, dipping into fluent English when necessary. The place was packed on a Tuesday night, so I would recommend booking ahead. We booked the same day.
