Excellent restaurant.

Very cosy restaurant with delicious food. I tried escargots for the first time in my life there and loved them. My picky 12 year old son even liked them. We tried them elsewhere, and they just didn't compare!

ALT var godt. Hver eneste ret var sat sammen, så smagene klædte hinanden. Kyndig vejledning i vine, og så gik det hele op i en højere enhed. Sød og venlig betjening. Der er stor forskel på Paris og Avignon!

the restaurant d avignon, must-have, the generations hiely follow each other and it is always with happiness that we dine to the fork of a Provencal cuisine that does not hesitate to decline with other flavors especially Asian or other the menu is an institution but every day you will have for the entrance and the main dish of suggestions that I recommend you to take it home is to the little decoration revamp recently is perfect the wine cellar made

By chance, the restaurant "the fork" is only a short distance away from the tourist swelling of the clock square, we were seduced by the place, the dishes and the staff.

We had been really looking forward to our dinner at La Fourchette, since it was highly recommended on TA, as well as a local in the area. The atmosphere is really nice, and I have to say that the staff could not have been more friendly/attentive. Having said this, the food was a disappointment. I had a chilled tomato soup for a starter---I can see what they were going for, but every component of the soup was just TOO MUCH. The tomato base was SO intense and tart, and the cream that should have helped cut that tartness, was infused with some kind of very strong flavor that did not complement the soup. I had to have my boyfriend finish it, because I felt bad leaving it, but I just did not enjoy it. My scallops were ok, but nothing special. The real issue was the apricot tarte tatin that my boyfriend ordered for dessert. It wasn't just "not good", it was BAD. It tasted like vinegar, almost like the fruit had spoiled. We have traveled a lot and had a lot of tarte tatins in our time--there was just something not right about it. We politely asked the server if it was supposed to taste like this, very sour and of vinegar? Obviously we knew it should not taste like this, but were just trying to politely call their attention to a problem with the food. Without hesitation, she just kind of shrugged and said yes, without looking into it at all. We were pretty disappointed and would not go back.

We think this is at least the seventh time we've enjoyed eating here. We visit the South of France every year and wherever we are going La Fourchette has to be fitted in to our meal plans. As another reviewer has said recently make sure you taste the Tomato Velouté! The only other one I've had which was as good was at La Lieutenance in Honfleur in Normandie! Try that one as well! Our plans for next year are being agreed but La Fourchette will be included for sure !!

Nice place in all respects. Good service, friendly atmosphere. The menu is quite diverse, and it is presented to the Provence kitchen. With regard to fish, prepared inaccurately. Totally charming desserts, Prices are not higher than other restaurants around.
