Les Petites Tables - Volx

This is a small restaurant next to the Ecomusee l'Olivier that you shouldn't miss!I'm pretty much vegetarian, so I really enjoyed their options. I had their famous lemon and ginger drink that was fabulous and a mixed platter with 4 different "dishes" of vegetables that were really tasteful and fresh!To finish we had the mixed platter of desert, that consisted in 4/5 different cakes, all delicious.All of this was topped by staying in the terrace enjoying the marvellous sun and good weather of the Provence, I loved it!I definitely recommend this restaurant as a fantastic place to visit in the Luberon.

I have wanted for some time to write a review for this tiny restaurant because it is one of the few restaurant s around Manosque serving an original but genuine take on Provence cooking. Healthy and fresh, the food will be served as a mixed platter with soup or you can also choose quiche. Their famous drink, hot fresh ginger and lemon is so good, I've been trying to make it myself without much success... the welcome is genuine as well. There is more table space in the summer as they spill out on the terrace but winter has its charm as part of the restaurant is in the museum shop so you'll be surrounded by tempting products on an old fashioned apothecary decor. The serving staff speak English too. A place 're from the maddening crowd'.

Off the beaten track but that didn't stop this place from being packed full of people. Definitely you must book! The food was so healthy and delicious. The ginger lemon drink sublime. Such reasonable prices too for such huge portions. My favourite was the unusual nutty pesto pasta, the olive tapenade and the ratatouille. The cucumber soup was pretty much to die for too! WARNING they dont take credit card. Tho the museum next door does...lots of local gifts to buy there and fascinating walking around the little museum where they also do lavender weaving classes

Deep in the Provençal hills is this little cafe and olive museum. The delightful chef/hostess, Josephine, has created a special lunch spot which offers an unusual menu of healthy plates of local loveliness- pastas, charcuterie, aubergine, pungent cheeses all accompanied with some delicious juices, siropes and, naturally, some local wines and delicious desserts. And after coffee, make sure to check out the adjoining museum and shop.

Les Petites Tables specialises in fresh local organic produce and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed lunch consisting of a generous and tasty mixed plate of grains, salad, soup, carrot, egg and tapenade. Booking is strongly recommended as the restaurant is both popular and quite small. There is a choice of either indoor or external covered seating.Service was very warm and helpful and prices very reasonable - strongly recommended.
