Restaurant l'Epicerie - Villefranche-sur-Saône

Each time we eat here we are pleasantly surprised with the consistency of the food quality, the traditional menu, the outstanding service and friendliness of the staff. Looking forward to our next visit!

It looks like a typical french restaurant and they loved it. Only two people were serving and both spoke english. They menu consist of good french food. I hope I can visit this restaurant again.

This is truly traditional french restaurant with good menu but beware lots of offal? English spoken with good advice both on food and wines. One of the best meals ever! Only few minutes walk from Best Westen Hotel.

Arrived here..friendly staff great menu offering traditional hearty french fare. Really tasty and well cooked food . not expensive with a warm welcoming atmosphere.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel and we were delighted with the meal we had here. The food is typical of the region. I had escargots meurette (snails in red wine with a poached egg) followed by kidneys and everything was beautifully cooked. My husband had pig foot pate and then a steak and these were also cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and efficient.

A very typical French Restaurant in style and menu. Not everything on the menu was what I would have eaten but there was plenty that was. Food was very tasty and service very good and friendly. Prices were quite expensive although not for France

Very typical bouchon, the local restaurant in Lyon. Do not expect international food, you don't go to l'Epicerie for that. You go there to discover something else you eat in Sonderborg.The ambiance is real and not for tourists only, The wooden fridge,the pictures on the wall, all these make you feel you are in France.The food is delicious, the meat is really good and the quenelles a pure sin.I definitely need to come one more time!
