This pub has a reasonable selection of food on offer and everything we ordered was really nice. The set menu is also excellent value for money. The back terrace also has a lovely atmosphere for relaxing on a warm summer evening.
Three minutes walk from our holiday rental. Lovely garden to sit in at the back with great views. Owner speaks perfect English but I persevered with my appalling French.Kids tucked into average, not homemade calamari and superb entrecôte with average, not homemade frites. Lovely sorbet and glaces for desert. We had a perfectly acceptable mezze of tapas, a lovely mozzarella & tomato salad and a perfectly reasonable salad with excellent smoked trout.Local rose & Muscat v good....but the highlight was the cuttlefish, which was really good - very simple but beautifully cooked. Yum!Lovely interior too. Friendly staff.Merci beaucoup.
A kind of French country pub, with pleasing and good value set lunch. Friendly landlord and chef, and good atmosphere. Pity we didn't get there earlier so we could sit out at the front.
Informal restaurant with terraces front and back for outdoor dining. I have had some wonderful meals here, the owners are extremely nice and helpful. I live in the area.
We were visiting a friend in Vieussan and were pleased to find this restaurant situated near the river where boaters were preparing to enter the water. The menu was surprisingly extensive for such a rural area. There were several delicious salads and "down home" full meals available. As well, there was a good selection of desserts.
Today isn't the first time we've eaten at Le Lézard Bleu, so I can't think why I haven't reviewed it before. This time we went as a couple, the last time, in 2012, was as a family group of 8, before that, we went as a couple, too. Every visit has been convivial, and helped along by delicious meals, drinks from a good menu, and the friendly owners and staff. There's not much else to say, except that it's used by local families who are made very welcome, oh, and that we'll be going back soon.
This is must if you are anywhere near. In addition to the great locally sourced food, an unrivalled range of Belgian beers, the garden with play area for kids, spectacular views of vieussan from the sunny terrace, friendly knowledgeable service they now have the best chips (frites) I've ever had anywhere in the world. Free WiFi too! Base your day trip around having lunch here.
