We dropped by this restaurant on Wednesday last (19th July 2017), too late to choose the "plat du jour", which we probably would not have had anyway, as it was spare ribs that was on the menu. So, instead, we opted for pizzas and were not disappointed. They were freshly prepared, the pastry was fine and crispy, the toppings generous.I was rather shocked to be told I would have to pay a surcharge if I wished capers instead of olives on my pizza. That kind of very minor change should come for free. The service was relatively fast, which was a bonus as we were a bit pressed for time.On a sunny day, however, it is pleasant to sit outside in the shade of the trees and watch the traffic on the Canal de Bourgogne. One slight criticism: the bin in the toilets was overflowing with used paper towels and the dispenser was empty. The management must realise that such details are extremely important for their customers.
