We dropped by this restaurant on Wednesday last (19th July 2017), too late to choose the "plat du jour", which we probably would not have had anyway, as it was spare ribs that was on the menu. So, instead, we opted for pizzas and were not disappointed. They were freshly prepared, the pastry was fine and crispy, the toppings generous.I was rather shocked to be told I would have to pay a surcharge if I wished capers instead of olives on my pizza. That kind of very minor change should come for free.The service was relatively fast, which was a bonus as we were a bit pressed for time.On a sunny day,however, it is pleasant to sit outside in the shade of the trees and watch the traffic on the Canal de Bourgogne.One slight criticism: the bin in the toilets was overflowing with used paper towels and the dispenser was empty.The management must realise that such details are extremely important for their customers.
We eat there regularly. Pizzas are great, prices reasonable and it is lovely to sit outside at the canal basin.Don't hesitate.
Seated by the canal in the evening sun this was a very pleasant spot. Plenty of choice on the menu: crepes pizza and local dishes. Service was good and pleasant. We went three times in two weeks.
Good food. Lovely location by canal. Service is terrible. Worth a visit so long as you check the bill carefully and don't mind waiting.
This restaurant is nothing to look at but it is in a great location by the side of the Canal. We ate here on a rainy summer day. Great choice of food, especially for families - crepe, pizza, gratin dishes. Everything we had was delicious and service was attentive.
This pizzeria/creperie doesn't look much more than a series of garden sheds joined together, but it turned out to be a great find. The position couldn't be bettered - right by the side of one of the Burgundy canals. Very clean and well decorated inside with a shaded terrace outside. Dog friendly inside and out. We ate here several times during our visit to Burgundy. Extensive menu of pizzas and galettes. Try the TNT pizza or the Salmon Galette - excellent. Wine by the glass or pichet (a litre is good on a warm summer's evening). Also you can have a pichet of cider if you'd prefer. Live music on occasions. Good friendly service. Highly recommended.
We ate here several times during our stay. Friendly and good food. Although the green salad had thin mayo over it so I did not have that again. Fromage et jambon galette 5 euros.
We arrived in Tanlay at lunchtime only to discover no place to eat! We decided to take the D965 to Tonnere to find somewhere to eat and on the way out of Tanlay (at the Burgundy canal) we spotted this Bar/Restaurant/Creperie/Pizzeria. It was crowded with locals and tourist alike. There was even a canalboat with a group of tourists that had all stopped to eat there. Galettes de sarrasin(buckwheat) are one of their specialities. I had the Galette campagnarde for 9 euros - it was very good! Service was quick even though it was crowded. Glad to have found this place!
