Très joli restaurant où nous sommes revenus pour la cinquième année consécutive. La chambre a été repensée (plus d'espace et une cuisine ouverte). L'accueil est toujours chaleureux. Une mention spéciale pour le patron et son magnifique en-tête de cerf avec qui nous avons longtemps échangé. Une carte des vins toujours très élaborée, et un Pic Saint Loup toujours très bon! La tresses que nous avons tant aimée a été retirée de la carte, mais les explications sont très compréhensibles (connaissance écologique). Toujours un plaisir de déjeuner, nous reviendrons l'année prochaine !

Went to see the paragliders taking off over Lake Annecy, and then it was lunchtime.indoor or outdoor terrace, bar and soft drinks, parking ( not always easy to find if you are near a sporting venue ), and views of parapentistes who have just taken off 50m higher. The menu was Savoyarde, Formule or A la Carte. Food cooked to perfection, and portions were generous. Service was very efficient.Also the farm's own cheeses are for sale, plus visits to the cowshed if you were so inclined.

While Google and trip advisor indicated extended opening hours, we weren't able to eat here when we arrived. It was pm and the kitchen was closed. We suggest clarifying food service times online.

Stumbled upon this restaurant while driving around col forclaz. Very friendly staff, pure favours in the food. We had potatoes cheese as well as veal cutlet covered with ham which was heavenly. Limited menu for vegetarians but they will modify their menu in case you...want veg food. Will return one day!

We stumbled on La Ferme walking back from watching the para-gliders taking off. Had to wait minutes or so to be seated because it was so busy. Had one of the set menus and was not disappointed. Excellent views both over Lake Annecy and...the other way up the valley.

Très beau cadre avec vue qui surplombe le lac, très beau parc, un grand parking (ce qui qui est appréciable à cet endroit). Touts est très bien, de l'accueil, au service (un peu lent), aux plats.

Chalet la Pricaz

Un super restaurant, un super accueil et un plat convivial qui ravi toujours nos invités : la reblochonnade... du reblochon, des pommes de terre, de la charcuterie et tout ça à volonté. Un incontournable de nos hivers à Annecy.

L'Auberge Du Mont-Rond

We stayed here for one night before our chalet was ready. There was parking at the front of the property. The hotel was very dated and is in need of decoration. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn't eat our evening meal here but had breakfast the next morning which was continental with the option of a hot hard boiled egg. The area breakfast was laid out in was very small and awkward and caused queuing. I like Montriond and we tend to drive to Ardent every time we stay for ease of access to Avoriaz however we probably won't return to this hotel as there are better options in the centre of Morzine which has a much better atmosphere.

Refuge de Pre Verel

Once again at the Refuge we had a great evening. It remains one of the reasons we choose to holiday in Annecy and as ever we were not let down.We didn't book but were made to feel very welcome by the hosts and got a table inside. The rustic interior of the refuge restaurant with the sweet smell of the cote de boeuf sizzling over the fire embers is very inviting.We had the plat du jour, slow cooked veal with sweet potato purée followed by the reliable pain perdu made all the more enjoyable accompanied by the Chateau N-d-P.Don't go for crisp linen, silver cutlery or easy access but if you hanker after a memorable rustic dinner and you like French cooking then this is a good place to go.The location is spectacular; the rock formations of La Tournette towering above the Refuge make it worth the meandering climb in the car.

Saravah Cafe

This snack bar is located inside the public park at Angon and offers a basic menu soft drinks, beer, sandwiches, panini, etc. The french fries are delicious! There is also a nice seating area with chairs and umbrellas right alongside the lake.
