Once again, decided to try out this one based on the reviews on here and because of the joint offer run by TA and La Fourchette (The Fork), which meant if you book in advance you get 30% off your food bill. The place is very central and literally round the corner from the Broglie tram stop. The ambience is trying to be sophisticated, I thought, though the massive fireplace in the middle adds to the rustic idea behind the whole place. The menu is quite simple, with only a few dishes to choose from. Most of the mains involve being cooked on ashes or being grilled, and all of the food is made to order anyway.I had the escargots (6) for starter and the fish main, which came on top of a little mound of sauerkraut (choucroute) and with béchamel sauce. Both dishes were fine, but I was somehow expecting a little bit more in terms of flavour. Service was extremely friendly and attentive, but then again there were only 3 busy tables while I was there. Recommended for a pleasant evening out, although bear in mind the dishes are a bit on the pricey side.
