I visited this restaurant with friends who had been before. A really good menu at a very reasonable price. I have driven past it very many times a never noticed it. Do not be put off from the plain frontage for inside and the garden area is very smart. If you go for lunch then it is advisable to get there early to get a table. It is very popular due to the reputation for good food and value. There is no parking on ste.

You could drive past and never think to eat here (we did for years!) But it is one of the best value for money restaurants around. It is always busy, dishes sell out early on, hence the title of the review.

Nous sommes très heureux de notre déjeuner au restaurant bistrot. la réception et le service sont très cordials et le personnel s'interroge régulièrement sur votre satisfaction. Les plats sont excellents. Carte réduite (3 entrées, 3 plats, 3 desserts) qui permet un choix plus facile. Également un menu entrée/platum à 16 euros ou plat/dessert. carte des très grands vins avec 'le vin du moment'. Nous recommandons.

belle terrasse ensoleillée avec bois et végétation, personnel avec petit soin, le cuisinier est un gastronomique dans l'âme qu'il se sent dans les plats, excellent rapport qualité-prix car il est vraiment bon marché et les plats sont dignes d'un gastronomie!

This is really one of Vannes' hidden jewels. It's inconvenient from outside. It is located on Route de Nantes, which is not a pedestrian zone. There is also a car shop. You could go with it or go and never think... go in, but you couldn't be worse. Every day for lunch they prepare a selection of specialties that are as creative as they are delicious. The presentation and innovation borders on fine food, but prices are exceptionally low. The portions are moderately large, which means that you do not feel blooming when you go. You just won't believe how cheap the food is for the level of quality. I'm still surprised. The staff is all around beautiful and there is only a generally pleasant social atmosphere. Sometimes you may have to wait for your order, but this is just because the place is usually packed. I never had to make a reservation, but if you come late, you could notice that the specials of the day have expired. There is still a menu that has many good dishes, but the specialties are really the thing to go. From the outside it looks pretty bland, but don't leave this fool like the interior and the garden on the back are beautiful. There is no real parking to speak, but if you are freky, you can use the large parking lot of the Chinese restaurant about 100 meters on the street. I feel bad to recommend this restaurant because it is now more crowded, and it really doesn't look as if they need the public, but it's just such an amazing place to eat that I can't help. And I'll get away from Vannes soon!
