Sûrement très bon quand il est ouvert... Deux tentatives deux échecs car fermé sans information. Dommage...

My wife is always searching for a nice seafood salad and this place was able to deliver. My son's prawn dish was also excellent. The mi-cult desserts were also very good. Had to mark it down to a 4 because the service was a bit slow.

Visiting my father in hospital and took a moment to grab a coffee in town after travelling 12hrs from the UK. I only had a €50 note so the barman let me have my espresso on the house. Thank you kind sir! Smart looking place and I'll come back for lunch and or dinner!

We only had drinks and ice-cream here but the service was swish and everything was very clean and fresh. Would recommend and would re-visit.

We stopped for lunch. Service was OK and the starter, Carpiccio de Boeuf, was good but the burger, yuk. Burnt on the outside but raw throughout. The chips were black indicating that they had been twice cooked and they were slimy with fat. The two pichets of wine, ordinary wine, cost three quarters of the whole price. We have known the bar/brasserie for nearly 30 years and are sad that its food has descended to such a low and the price of its wine to such an extortionate high. We will not be returning and would not recommend it to anyone.

This stylish bistro-style restaurant offers a typical French menu and very agreeable wine list. The hosts are welcoming and the décor very French. Good value lunch menu with an informed choice of wine makes for a good experience

If you ever visit Saintes make sure you visit 2 places - the market by the cathedral (every Wednesday) and the coffee at Le Grand Comptoir right by the riverside.
