We were served dinner as part of 1/2 pension at the hotel, and therefore had no choice what we would be served.
We were the only guests in the hotel that day, end of May. The dinner was heated in microvawe, even the pasta was not fresh. At breakfast the baget wad not in condition to eat, i would assume 2 or more days old.

The owner of this establishment was very rude to me on more than one occasion.
Had lunch here today and it was all right until the first dish came, it should be made a house foie gras, probably lying in the back corner of the kitchen for months. After we had the restaurant owner and the chef who didn't want to believe that the foie gras had just gone bad, they simply ignored the fact and not even the trouble to apologize. Fortunately, this was not counted in the invoice. Suppose people go from there, despite the beautiful landscape, the food is so and the service is even worse.
We were from 12 May to 14. We have an exellent advice for hiking. Maybe we came a little early in spring, but got a nice trip to Refuge de Cougourde and my daughter even met a "Alpesteinbukk". The food was... very good and the rooms too. But above all, Jacques was an exellent host.
We were served as part of the 1/2 guest house at the hotel and therefore had no choice of what we are served.
