in a pleasant setting, we enjoyed a gourmet menu that delighted our taste buds. the reception is very warm and the advice on the choice of wine is relevant. Given the excellence of the whole we will return without any hesitation.

homemade cooking sauces with top, good menu and 3 menus to choose from. excellent sauce magrets. Our neighbors were enjoying a samili bouillabaisse. We don't understand the little clientele for a Saturday night!
We stayed here on our way down to Southern France. The hotel was originally the main house to a vineyard and all the rooms have been renovated to a very high standard in somewhat of a classy 'shabby chic' style. We stayed in the economy room which was very comfortable with on suite facilities if a little on the small side but (which is most important) a very comfy bed. The proprietor could not have been more helpful and the food we had was delicious. We would defiantly stay there again and can recommend it . It would be ideal to explore the nearby city of Bergerac.

Just west of Bergerac on the road towards Bordeaux you will find La Villa St-Laurent with a restaurant and Le Bistro 71. We just had lunch at the Bistro and had the most exquisite meal we have experienced in a very long time. First of all, the way we felt welcome by the proprietor who really knew what he was talking about when he served the aperitif and recommended the wine. The food; a delicious chicken and likewise entrecote of Angus meat. Top! The whole atmosphere radiated competence and pride in having guests. We will definitely be back!
