Rendez cette journée spéciale en dînant à Le Paradis Vert. Situé à 22 Esplanade de la Mer, 85160 Saint-Jean-de-Monts, France, nous sommes ouverts et enthousiastes à l'idée de satisfaire ton palais. After trying to get into another restaurant nearby that had run out of mussels we wandered into La Paradis Vert. It was only once we'd ordered that I looked on Tripadvisor to find it was rated so low. It is fair to say the wine wasn't great but the moules and frites were scrummy. The service was great and everything was done with a smile.Not sure how they'd cope if it had been really busy as it was relatively quiet when we were there but it certainly doesn't warrant the low score if our experience was anything to go by.I would return if I was in the area.
Went to this restaurant tonight and OMG the service was so slow and ineffective.Took 30mins to get someone to take our order then took another 30 mins after we finish our mains, to come for the desert (the table was not even cleared). I called a waitress to 'fast-track' the sluggish service, and while I spoke to her the head waitress came to her and rudely interrupted me to ask her to take care of another table. Oh I forgot... The food and drinks! Well, the food is pretty average, not particularly good value either. As far as the drinks are concerned nothing to improve the overall picture either: we were brought a 'pitcher of white wine which was at room temperature (at least 25 deg C). We were offered ice cubes to cool it down - eventually it was replaced by a cool one. All in all, not a great experience and they surely won't see us again
