I can't decide what's the best thing in this place: the stunning view of the mountains, the cozy environment or the tasty food. Everything it's perfect. I ordered the traditional Raclette and it's just delicious - I highly recommend it.
Last night of the ski season and eating at flocon! Where else? And just to prove you can always be surprised I had the tartiflette for the first time after all my visits. An amazing dish!! With Apple - yes apple. Deep Camembert hit, fabulous salty lardon, just right potatoes and a hint of Apple. Unbelievable. Céline and Jean-Marie are the best hosts you can ask for and food always hits the spot.
We arrived in Auron knowing our first port of call was to Le Petit Flocan to receive a very warm welcome.One year on and the restaurant appears to be going from strength to strength! We have eaten here twice in 4 days and enjoyed everything! The Fondue bouguignonne was very special.We will be back next year to experience more culinary delights!
Just had the salmon fondue tonight. The mix of bay, fennel, garlic and onion in a fantastic wine base. Outstanding. And had the incredible lunch there last Saturday. Best food ever. The veal chop was succulent. And they were hosting the movie crew tonight. Quality of service? Good as ever. 5*You cannot miss this experience.
Have been January and this month. It is by far the best place to eat in the village. Oeuf cocotte starter and the steak are my favourite with brilliant roasted potatoes.
We visited on TripAdvisor recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal. We chose the beouf bourguignon which was completely amazing. The restaurant was fun and we enjoyed all aspects of our evening. The service was lovely too. If you are in Auron, visit!!
Excellent rating on Trip Advisor but we were rather disappointed Avoid Parmentier de canard - not great "Cerf with mushroom sauce" was OK but potatoes too greasy Meal for the kid was fine
Through tripadviser we found this charming restaurant and had a lovely evening. The owner was really friendly and food really tasty. I highly recommend the fondue and the chocolate dessert!
