Grill Courtepaille - Rodez

Nothing special to write about. The service was fine, but the meal was very average. The steak was cooked well, but was rather poor in quality. Maybe if I used it again I would try something different. You do have a feeling that this chain could do with a new look at the menu which is not very exciting.

This place definitely has a chain restaurant feel to it. The guy who greeted us--well he never really did, so my first impression was that we were bothering them by being there. As for the food, it was mediocre. Extremely hot, but ice cold at the same time. Not sure how they managed to do that, but I'm sure it involves a microwave. When I got the bill my eyes were like this-- O-O -- I should have looked over it, but I didn't. After leaving I did and noticed that I paid at least 15€ more than I should have. I won't be going there again, but if you're looking for fast food on a plate instead if in a cardboard box, by all means give it a try.

Le repas le plus décevant que nous ayons eu depuis si longtemps - même les enfants étaient critiques. Le poulet était de mauvaise qualité - gras avec peu de viande, les saucisses roses au milieu et les légumes sans goût. Le service était lent et des frais supplémentaires nous ont été facturés pour les boissons des enfants, même si elles étaient censées faire partie de l'offre pour les enfants. 13 euros pour une assiette de légumes ! Nous n'avons jamais mangé de nourriture d'aussi mauvaise qualité et aussi chère en France ou ailleurs - une telle déception.

Don't expect high cuisine but steaks are excellent and cooked exactly as requested.The salad is boring. As many French fries as you want and you don't have to ask ... they come to your table and ask if you want more. Nice touch.Service extremely friendly and everybody is very efficient.Food is not cheap but the meat is worth the money.Drinks ridiculously expensive for a town like Rodez, especially as this place is not even in or near the centre of town.
