A cabin right on the waterfront specialising in mussels but has other compatible dishes. Definitely ' Dining Al Fresco', however with great atmosphere and very good value for money!

Cheap and cheerful. Right in the docks overlooking the boats coming and going. Mainly moules (muscles) cooked deliciously and of course with chips. Its pick up your meal at the bar along with your drinks. No waiter service. Served in plastic dishes. Down to earth, great location. Only open for 6 months/year.

We stopped here for a light bite and were lucky enough to have a seat with a great view of the marina on a lovely day.It was really busy and so had a good atmosphere. It's basic, yes - some meals on paper plates and with only plastic glasses but they are friendly, work pretty fast and the food was good.We had a chicken salad and a tartiflette (done as a sort of massive cheese on toast or pizza bread - with cheeses, ham, potatoes and onions). Both were lovely. I had a beer to quench my thirst and we shared a 500cl pitcher of wine. All in all it was less than £20 so i'd say it was cheap and cheerful with reasonable quality.

Basic hut at the side of the marina with all the seating being outside. However, the food is cooked fresh while you wait and and the speciality is the mussels. Choosing not to have the mussels, we ate from a very varied menu twice whilst we were there. English is spoken at the counter and the staff are very friendly with good service. It is a particular hangout of the yachties because of the good value and fresh food. Each time we were there it was very busy with locals and holidaymakers alike. I hope to be eating there again in a couple of weeks. They close for winter at the end of September

This is an order at the counter restaurant café with paper plates and plastic cutlery but it is the nicest good value meal that we have had for a long time. 35 Euros for a portion of crudites to share, really nice, 2 moules et frites which were superb, 2 nice desserts and 2 glasses of wine. Alongside the marina overlooking the boats. If you are in Rochefort, go there but do expect a café more than a posh restaurant. We will be back.
