Lovely village, Les escargots, were excellent, steak & fries are always wonderful, good an simple, Calf leaver with the roast potatoes garlic and parsley, dessert good. House wine was very good. I always stop there when I am in Paris.

Gourmands should look elsewhere, but its a friendly and pleasant restaurant on the main square in Puteaux: spacious inside, large fish tank, etc. The food is fine - nothing special but well prepared and not bad value compared to elsewhere. Most dishes seemed to come with rice, beans (bit soggy) and ratatouille. We tried the cod special and sea bream - all the fish cooked just right. There's a child's menu for 10E and it's the usual burger (+ drink and one boule of ice cream), but at least home-made. House wine is drinkable at 10E per pichet, demi-litre. So not a bad choice for a very welcoming dining experience - don't expect too much and you'll enjoy the evening.

Close to La Defense. Excellent food! I recommend the Cotes du Rhone wine. Les gourmandises is not so famous just because is located in Puteaux that is about 15 minutes from La Defense. But if you are in La Defense you should try! Very good choice for family! You should look for Esplanade Sude coming from La Defense.

The staff in a restaurant can make the difference between an average experience and a memorable one. The waitress here was very helpful and friendly, advising what to eat and the "specialties" to avoid. There is even an English language menu but beware of some of the translations; I don't think Boeffe au Dauphinoise really means "Pork Snout"!The duck in honey with garlic potatoes was delicious, as was the steak in Roqufort sauce. The terrine au Grand Mere was a little disappointing as a starter but the wine was very good.We ate here twice during our stay, as much for the cheerful ambience as the good food.

We came here upon recommendation from a staff member at the hotel we were staying at as our first choice (Sain Sert Le) was closed. Upon reflection, I really should have looked on trip advisor! We ordered our food and after a terrible starter (shrimp and crayfish salad) we decided to pay and leave, not staying for our main course. The seafood was terrible (perhaps cheap frozen stuff) literally lathered in marie rose sauce. Our bread was placed directly onto the table, no side plate or butter. Was expecting better service and better tasting food. Shame as it nearly spoiled our stay in Paris.

2 courses for 21 Euros - My wife and I took this deal. She had chicken in creamy mushroom sauce and I had the steak. Both loved it and my steak was cooked perfectly medium from one end to the other. For desert we had Creme Brule and homemade chocolate mousse. Yummy!. All of this washed down with a bottle of rosy wine for 18 Euros. The service was very good and our awkward attempts at communicating with the waitress were eased as soon as we heard her fluent English. She was friendly and quick with recommendations.60 Euros in total for two people and a very good 2 course meal. Somewhat of a bargain.

This delightful little french bistro offers a warm welcome from the host along with a interesting menu. Spoilt for choice I ordered the prawn and crayfish salad followed by duck with honey sauce and garlic potatoes. I thought I couldn't have been more pleased but on a subsequent evening during my stay in Puteaux the herring with warm potato salad and the calves liver deglazed with raspberry viniagrette proved to be just as enjoyable. Both meals were followed by delicious homemade desserts and I hope to return at some future date to try even more of the enjoyable fare on offer. With a very acceptable house wine, coffee and 'servis compris' the meal for two came to 62 euros - worth every cent!

We stayed in Puteaux in the Le Dauphin Hotel. Just a few minutes walk away was this great french restaurant. The owner and his staff were friendly and very helpful. The 'special' menu was just 26 Euros and consisted of a choice of starter, main and dessert. Every dish was excellent, we visited twice in our 3 days there. I could not have been happier with the food, wine and atmosphere. Full of locals as well as visitors. I recommend the Pave of rumpsteak if you are a carnivore.
