Snack Le Gardian - Port-Saint-Louis-du-Rhône

we had good sandwiches for lunch, grab us and sit when you can. we have secured two seats, but in a range that has drawn something from the ess zone that we shared with some other diners. our order was later available on the counter, another...they brought it to us. all in all, a great lunch and fun to meet other traveling.

sylvie and girard were hard at work to make this a popular local midday place, and they have succeeded over all reasonable expectations. the guardian can be the only snackable on the planet where reservations are required for lunch! eating is fresh, healthy and very fair. I ate everything on the menu and it's all delicious. one of the best values they ever find. if they want to be mistaken for a local (probably 80% of customers and often repeat) their own table will go. it is a nice note in a very friendly place.

no annoying, very pleasant place with very nice service. menu is somewhat limited, but that is what you want to lunch, quality not quantity and at great price. Eating is locally and freshly prepared while waiting. the choice is between seafood. teller (prawns, oktopus or mix of both) or meat, listing local sorts of sausage and grilled meat. the best offer seems to be le menu', which can be either from the two above mentioned choices with a 1/4 l of the local wine and a coffee to complete their meal. great lunch in a great, laborious atmosphere. they should visit. I would recommend a reservation before the time. it's getting busy!

excellent eating and service at a very reasonable price. has really enjoyed the assette. a perfect meal when they just did the via rhone.

Great Food one of the best Gambas I have ever eaten ..Every Dishes looked soo GOOD that I didn't know which one to take. The owners are very nice and welcome you with always a big smile If someday you ,r in Port saint Louis...just stop by and hang there for a while , great time for sure The food is Fantastic
