Pomme D'Ouilly - Pont-d'Ouilly

We were recommended Pomme D'Ouilly by our host at Chateau de la Pommeraye and it lived up to his high praise. It is a small, only 4 tables, family run restaurant serving a limited menu each night. We had the fois gras followed by a perfectly cooked steak and wonderful duck. Desert was an elegantly presented tarte aux fruits which was simple and delicious. Wine is served by the glass and we chose a medoc red. A great meal , simple but elegantly served in the French tradition that is often hard to find. What is most amazing about Pomme D'Ouilly is the price. 25 euros for 3 courses. It would have been value at twice that price. Do not miss this restaurant if you are in the Suisse Normandy area.

we have been attending this great little restaurant for 2 years, but have been away in recent months regardless of our will. the welcome is always as charming, the ingredients always of quality, the map always the same as the price of the menu, the implementation always worthy of a great chef. However, the vegetable accompaniment has narrowed considerably, comparing itself to a decor rather than to a accompaniment. so the mini slice of melon confit (delicious otherwise) that accompanied the 5 st jacco shells, and the spoon of vegetable crushed on the beef fillet! moreover the customer next to us did not hesitate. it will suffice that the accompaniment will find the generosity of the beginnings so that the impression will return perfect . mixed this flat , we continue to advise without restraint this good table .

perfect welcome, short card, fresh products, nice cooking and seasoning, ratio quality price very interesting, a great time with family, we will come back.

This is a wonderful place- a small boutique restaurant with the kindest owner who takes great pains to see her guests pleased and well served. The food is beautifully presented and tastes wonderful. With notice, they are able to accommodate vegetarian requests, but otherwise have a small set of choices at any given time for the menu. Be sure to reserve as it is a small place, lovingly maintained. Prices are quite reasonable.

This is a wonderful small hidden gem of a restaurant. The only downside is the limited menu and customers need to know that they need to pay in cash - but there is an ATM within 25m.But the food is super and irrespective of the limited menu my wife and I visit regularly whenever we are in France.It is essential to make a reservation.Highly recommended for a very pleasant dining experience.

I think it's my favorite restaurant in the area, we don't necessarily notice it passing through the street (former butcher shop), I thought it was a small grocery store. dishes and wines are excellent, the value for money also. the menu at 25 euros! relatively simple recipes, but everything is perfectly dosed and gourmet!! I strongly advise him!
