We arrived for a late lunch due to travelling and were recommended this restaurant by our hotel, as it serves all day. It maybe that we just arrived after the main busy lunch run, but the service was pretty shabby - we had to remind the waiter twice about our drinks and really make an effort to get the waiters attention. Food was good and portions generous. just slack service for the price you are paying.
Very good food and a good choice of drinks. Service was also very good. Choice of sitting inside or outside.
Where ever we are in France, if we see one of these Restaurants you know you will get good food and service. The waiters are on the ball and looking after you all the time. My langoustines were served with dry ice, looked stunning
Pretty good place to get sauerkraut and a seafood platter. We were 8 and the service was efficient if rather impersonal. The sauerkraut "Maître Kanter" was more than ample and was pretty good. Other diners all pleased with their meals. Do not expect an exceptional meal, but as a place to have a good meal in a relaxed atmosphere with a wide menu choice you can't go wrong.
Nice food. Acceptable prices. Wide variety. Mid-day lunch meals. Try the seafood and steak with fries. Exceptional fries. Nice beer.
Came here for lunch on a Sunday, when most places are closed. Excellent food, excellent service. I had the escargot and choucroute paysanne. Both were delicious
Although other people from the UK seem to have fared better than us, we could not get served on a Sunday night. We had the feeling that it was because we were British and speaking English. Several waiters came and even took our drinks orders but we never got anything, whilst the French at other tables were being served. We waited and waited but were convinced they wanted us to leave. We left after 40 minutes.
For a Friday night it was surprisingly empty. The place seems to specialise on Alcasienne cuisine. That's what we ordered and we were very satisfied. The price level was favourable. For seven persons a complete dinner including eg. oisters and a lot of beverages was only just over 300 €. The staff was nice and informal and knew languages. The interior of the restaurant was not very cosy - typical chain style.
