First things first: there is plenty of parking, either directly at Le Hangar, or next door in the old railway station car park, where there is more shade. Next is the cornucopia that greets you as you go through the door. Lots of their own biscuits, of course, but also other local produce, a very good selection of wine and beer, and when we were there, a spotlight on Spanish products such as fish and oil. Ahead is the glass window, through which you can see the people busy making the biscuits. Beyond is the cafe, with a high ceiling, sofas, tables and chairs - and the most amazing selection of home-made cakes. We had elevenses there twice during our week and on both occasions the baked goods were amazing. We also had lunch after doing the walk that starts from the old railway station and works its way round to the Hortensia Trail beside the Lac du Duc (highly recommended too, and not strenuous). The dish of the day that we fancied had run out by the time we got there but if you can get the lunch menu, it's a real snip at €12. Instead, we chose from the salad menu and were not disappointed. There are a few outside tables with umbrellas for the sunny days. Only downside was the service, which seemed a bit overwhelmed although the place was not full.

A very modern and interesting shop / cafe where the wonderful food for sale in the shop is made on the premises. Some wonderful stuff but expensive.

Went to meet friends for lunch. Found it over priced and poor menu, particularly as all the salads seemed to contain cheese. We thought the portions were small and the prices too high. It was cold and service was not particularly good either. Lovely building with the shop attached but that is expensive too.

We called in for lunch and some pre Christmas shopping and were not disappointed. The range of gifts in the shop include some lovely biscuits and chocolates made on the premises (you can see into the kitchens from the shop). Lunch is served through the door in the restaurant. Plat de Jour is well thought out with choices to suit most tastes and the salads look fabulous. We settled for 2 courses followed by cafe gormand, it was all delicious and we will return next time we are in the area.

Good for lunches and for afternoon teas and coffee and superb hot chocolate. Also shop selling home made biscuits, meringues etc, Worth a visit as unique for the area.

This is a must do for me when we come to Brittany. It is a shop and restaurant combined in a renovated building. The shop always has interesting things and plenty of speciality conserves, wines etc. Their biscuits are their speciality and you can choose your own selection. The restaurant is bright and airy and normally has an art exhibition of some kind on display. The food is generous and the hot chocolate luscious. Outside seating, clean toilets and plenty of parking available.

Very good food, large portions, freshly prepared, even the skins are taken off the tomatoes for the salads .They have a small menu, about 6 salads,6 baked potatoes with various toppings with sauces (not your normal baked potatoes )they also have a daily menu well priced, with 2 to 3 choices for each course.wine is served by the glass, but you can also buy a bottle of wine that they sell in their shop and pay a small corkage fee.For dessert they have a selection of tarts, daily dessert, and of corse their chocolate brownie. You can also pop in for a coffee or tea.

Had a very nice lunch here, small menu choice but then the dishes are obviously all freshly made. Cafe Gourmand pud was great, excelent value with (I think) 6 sweet nibbles. It's a big airy, modern factory-loft style room, very different for the area, which is great. Not that many tables, but filled up by 12.30.Have had mid-morning coffees here too, a bit more expensive, but they give you 1 of their biccies with it...
