Really enjoyed drinking here. Barman was very friendly and a really good pint of Guinness. There was always a lot of people in.

This restaurant seemed to be a favorite of many locals. Truly a pub atmosphere. Prices and food good.

Good for Guinness. - Proper cold draught Guinness but at €8 it should be. Bad for food. - Ordered the 'Grill of the day' and was told it was sirloin steak. Sounded lovely with pepper sauce. It came out and I have to say I was disappointed. Not only was it the size of a pork chop, it looked strange. It had scored marks all over it. I ordered well done (Dead) and after cutting into it, realised it was dripping pink. Cut the other end to find it was chewy and grisly. I cut through the scored marks but it was all the same. My hubby called a man over and asked sent it back. He man said 'yours is good though' and hubby said that his was very chewy and rare too (He ordered Medium). It was sent back but the cook just flicked off the plate onto the griddle and pressed it down with a spatula. It was sent back to me worse than before it went in. It was now black and chewy. I couldn't eat it. Plus every chip had a black eye on. Not worth €8 never mind the €18 they charged us. When they cleared the plates the lady just said 'sorry'. No discount was offered and uncomfortable atmosphere....So we paid the bill and left.

Lady bartender were friendly and courteous. Decent beer election, lots of poured drink specials. Food was pretty good, and served fresh. Sit back relax, and enjoy the ambiance. Watch soccer, and have some fun.

As we were staying at the hotel opposite, we felt this was a good place to try out the 'Irish' atmosphere and close enough to stumble home at the end of the evening. This bar seems to have a good mixture of young locals and tourists who frequent, so we didn't feel out of place. It was enjoyable to see the all Irish 'paraphenalia' on the walls and surroundings. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the 'football' being played on the various TV screens, whilst I enjoyed the pub 'vibe'. Our meals were delicious, but we felt they were a little expensive, for what is in effect 'pub grub'. The choice was a little short of selection, and being an 'Irish' pub, we expected to see meals which would harken back to their Irish origin, stews or hock and spuds meals, but unfortunately this was not our experience. However, I tried my first ever 'creme brulee' and I am determined it will not be my last! The staff were very affable to us, with a warm welcome and being thoroughly attentive during the night. All in all, an enjoyable escapade, and we would visit again if in the area.

We stopped in to get out of the cold ! We started with an irish coffee - very good ! You can get it in decaf as well. Then had some lunch. The menu is not huge but it's a pub ! There is the typical selection of burgers, cheese plate, fish and chips, chicken wings..They have a good selection of whisky's and scotchs if that's your fancy, a selection of beers , but they did have Guinness ! I've been here a few times, it's a good local place, not a whole lot of tourists
