Restaurant Le Pitaud - Palluaud

Un déjeuner très agréable dans un cadre calme, propre et très convivial. La nourriture était très bonne et bien présentée avec un excellent service. Un régal des plus inattendus dans un petit village. Je reviendrai certainement. Bravo à Cédric et à toute l'équipe.

J'organise des déjeuners mensuellement pour un groupe de gars principalement retraités et onze d'entre nous ont récemment eu un très bon repas au Pitaud. Quand j'ai réservé dans mon mauvais français, on me l'a répété au téléphone en anglais - toujours rassurant ! Après avoir eu un service peu amical le mois dernier dans un restaurant de Ribérac, c'était formidable de recevoir un accueil chaleureux de la part du personnel, avec un excellent service tout au long du repas. La nourriture était excellente, une dégustation fraîche et le vin ne manquait pas, ce qui était très buvable et inclus dans le prix du repas. Très apprécié par tous mes gars et fortement recommandé.

We always visit a few times when we are holidaying nearby and today's lunch was superb - Tomato and feta salad, which was absolutely beautiful followed by THE BEST moules - when these are on the menu it's always good to get there early, they are cooked to perfection and always fresh as is all the food, bought each day from the market. It's great to join the Facebook page to see what the menu of the day will be. Great cheese board to finish washed down with always a lovely glass of wine! Superb - thank you Cedric, Victoria & staff

Our first visit. Called in for a midweek lunch along with my parents. Very friendly place popular with locals. We sat outside on a small terrace at the front of the restaurant. They have plenty of inside seating and another terrace at the rear. We had the menu du jour which had 2/3 choices for each of 3 courses. Between us we had salade de gesiers and terrine, chicken & chorizo skewers and cod and for dessert creme brulee and strawberries. All beautifully presented and delicious. The menu was really good value at around 14/15 Euro. We will go again in an evening to try that menu as well. Thank you Claude and the team. A bientot. .

Whilst we are on holiday in the area we always manage a couple of visits to Le Pitaud we have been there about 10 times and have never been disappointed. The food is always cooked beautifully and the staff are always very attentive. Cedric the chef and I believe co owner always comes out of his kitchen to say hello to all customers. Really a lovely small restaurant.

Recommended by some friends. Run by a young chef who served fabulous food, beautifully cooked and presented. Very attentive staff. Restaurant newly refurbished to a high standard.

Excellent food and staff were lovely it was very clean it would totally recommended and evening meal here
