We came here because the formule looked good and the terrace is nice and shady but the food was below average, especially my dinde. The wife's salad was okay. Service average French ie not very good. We won't go back.
Took a large group for dinner here and we all had a great night. Food was really good, and the location was great. Kids able to play just out front of the restaurant and was a lovely atmosphere.
Went for a lunch time meal. Food was ordered off the set lunch menu and for €14.10 it was a good choice. Four well cooked and tasty meals. Would defiantly return for lunch.
It is a good place with a nice terrace outside. We had 2 different salads and these were quite good. Very friendely service. Prices reasonable.
On a visit to Niort we decided to stop for lunch. Plenty of restaurants to choose from along this road by the square but this one seemed to fill up with locals quickly, a good sign we thought. It tuned out to be a good choice; variety in the menu and simple but well cooked food and good service. Enjoyable lunch which was very reasonably priced.
This restaurant is on a small boulevard of eateries on one side of the centre of Niort. It is very pleasantly located.Les Remparts looked to be one of the more inviting establishments and upon eating there I can confirm the food is excellent. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable and the menu choice is ample. We had simple food well cooked, excellent fries and the 'piece de resistance' (can't get the accents sorry!) was the wonderful dessert of raspberry macaroons!Would return and soon if possible...
from us. starter, we shared. main courses. hühnerburger was okay. duck was boiled. fish was very over cooked. in any case. would not recommend. it is august and it is a scandal, but none of the restaurants were excessively busy.
our first visit to niort on a red hot day. we came from the deep garage park into the gardens and migrated our way down to the strip of restaurants that run along the bottom of the square. in any case we could find many things that eat on both, but a walk into the city first to take the prospects and then came back to see what the busiest and the served. we were coming shortly before when the waiters and the employees had their meal before the service, so we sat at our chosen table and our order was taken soon after. the waiters were friendly and attentive, with broken french put on when trying to explain which elements of the chicken burger my daughter did not want included! eating was really delicious, desserts (creme brûlée and fondant au chocolat) were delicious, like the cappuccino, to finish the meal. came to close for two courses every plus drinks and coffee. would be going back to niort. beautiful location to watch the world, over.
