La Grange aux Oies offers you brilliant food (on some evenings and for some dishes close to Michelin-star quality) beautifully presented in a brilliant location. During the summer months the view from the terrace on the adjacent chateau is charming and romantic. Best of all: the excellent price/quality ratio. Particularly the lunch menu (EUR 56 for a 4-course meal including aperitif, wine and coffee) is just unbeatable. And because of this one forgets the small imperfections such as the sometimes sketchy service ...

The food here is nice and good value. However on both nights we were here the service was poor. The maitre d should be watching what's going on, maybe doing some of the work himself instead of spending his evening chatting with favoured guests only. The waitress with dark hair is very good.
The best one I have visited. I echo the other reports listed here. #1 for me Super choices on menu Attentive table staff, no language problems as we speak French. Do visit the loos, 3 colours of toilet roll. No faults. It deserves 5stars.
I visit every year when I am in France. Delicious food with flavours that delight the palette, creative menu which uses fresh, seasonal ingredients, beautifully presented plates, great service, wonderful setting in the grounds of a small chateau. I particularly enjoy sitting outside for lunch - the menu, which has plenty of choice and includes aperitif and wine, is 52 euros . Menus are in English or French . Great value . Don't forget to visit the art gallery and antique shop and enjoy their English setter. Highly recommended .
