The service, food, decor and menu in this beautiful restaurant were truly amazing. We were on a canal boat and walked to the Boulangerie opposite and found this elegant restaurant with an amazing menu. Booked that evening and had a stunning cocktail, the lamb shanks, filet steak and stunning accompanying wines. I will be back.

I have read about the positiv reviews about this restaurant so I planned to dine here on the first evening of our boat trip with another family. Unfortunately on that Friday evening, the whole restaurant is booked for a wedding. So we were forced to go to another restaurant near the river bank which was overpriced. I made a reservation for our return trip per Email and got a confirmation the next day. After a week on the canal we were back in Niderviller. It took about 10 minutes walk from the river bank to Restaurant M but it was totally worth the time. The restaurant is very stylish decorated and nicely illuminated. The server spoke a little bit German so he explained patiently what the menus (24€ for 3 courses) were to us so we quickly decided for the menu. However the server quickly came back and informed us that the 24€ menu is only for Christmas season, which is written on the flyer but we didn't notice it. So we ended up ordering main dishes and desserts. We had coast augus beef from Ireland, suggest of the chef cook - deer steak with forrest fruit puree and children's menu (french fries with fried chicken). The beef steak was perfectly grilled, the portion was more than enough but it was so delicious and tender that the 2 men devoured it in 5 minutes. We had beef steaks in another restaurant just a week ago and they were of bad quality, not to mentioned they costed 19€. Compared to the bad restaurant, the price here is a bargain. The side dishes and sauces were also outstanding. They simply tasted different and better than other restaurants we tried during our boat trip in France. Another surprise was the starter from the chef cook. I don't remember the name but the mushroom soup was simply exquisite. The desserts were great too. The kids claimed that the ice creams were the best of the whole trip. Mine has some unique combination of berry and sweet chestnuts. The presentation, the creative combination of ingredients, the smell and the taste were perfect. Only 3 things might need some improvements: 1. the children's menu has no vegetables or salad at all. 2. The plates would be pre-warm. 3. Since there are a lot of German tourists, it would be helpful to have a German menu. All in all if you are near Nideviller make sure you drop by this restaurant. I wish I could try everything on the menu.

We were just walking through this very small village and noticed this restaurant was open with its blackboard menu du jour so decided that, as it was lunch time, to try it. Well we weren't disappointed. The quiche Lorraine was the tastiest we had eaten in this part of France and the unusual striped tomato that came with it was extremely flavoursome. In fact I would have been happy if this was my main but there was still roast beef and salad to follow. I then had the cafe gourmand with some lovely macarons as well as a panna cotta with strawberries, sorbet and a brownie. The other dessert was profiteroles with chocolate sauce. For a Tuesday the restaurant was unusually busy which is good to see in a small rural village.

eating is anything but good. in a group of six, we all took the cursor menu. I didn't believe anything except a dessert. it was just not delicious. the raw material they use did not seem of the highest quality. they can ask what do they expect for euro for the wein? Now that I am in france, I would say at least a good wein. another disappointment. I don't need a fluent English speaking waiter to consider where we are. but overall it was simply not enough. to far. we had a nice evening anyway.

we visited this restaurant in a cold night in the januar. we had to make a pretty long way to get it, but it was definitely worth it. eating was absolutely excellent and service was excellent. this restaurant must be close to michelin One...Star standard. great eating and wein served by young enthusiastic staff in a contemporary atmosphere.

very tasty and well-mastered dishes with original seasonal vegetables associations. it is worth changing their way a little if they change and want to discover this jewel. the menus are priced by round (and the price worth) and they beat. a good choice of crying. it is also possible to take the plate of the day for (s/d/d) which is a very good relation to the quality of the meal.

my wife and I were in the region when we decided to try this restaurant based on TripAdvisor reviews. we were very well welcomed and every detail in the restaurant turns it charming and elegant. at the beginning we drank a champagne and I chose the...“Menu voyage autour du Boeuf” and my wife the “Menu de Season”. we had the same feeling about our menu, all the plates in front of the main board were excellent and the captain was good. my bark was very tasty, but the options that were served with it were, of course, not complementary to the meat, according to my opinion. the sommelier chose very tasty weine for our dinner. yes, was a good experience!
