Tiny but with tables outside in the very pleasant square in front of the Château. At lunch, there is only a single formula. The only choice is whether you want two or three courses. When we went, the set meal was queues de langoustes as a salad, followed by yellowtail fish in teriyaki sauce with a chocolate semi-globe with strawberries as desert. We had an amuse-bouche: a small pot of air-dried tomatoes in a marscapone froth. The langouste tails were served with a tasteful pyramid of vegetables plus a froth decorationThe helping of yellowtail was disappointingly small and came with bulgour wheat, vegetables and a helping of froth. The desert was pleasant enough and, thankfully, omitted any froth although it probably included some of the marscapone from the amuse-bouche.All of the helpings were remarkably small as if there should have been additional courses to come. I cannot be too sure as to what we were served as the waitress was clearly a trainee or a student in a Summer job. She tried to present each dish as she brought it but had not learnt it by heart so read it off a scrap of paper without any indication that she knew or cared about what she was presenting. If she is a trainee, the restaurant needs to improve its training methods and coach her to be sure she knows what she is serving. All in all, more froth than substance - except in the final bill.

This is in Mouans Dartmouth and probably the only really good eating place in this town. The old part of town is really nice and where this family owned/managed restaurant is located. Small but great menu and small and good selection of wines at good value for money.

The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. A great gastronomic restaurant in the Mougins era. We can't wait to go back and would certainly recommend it !

This is very nice bistro style restaurant in a beautiful French square near Valbonne France. The night we had dinner with friends the restaurant was not long open. There were about 10 people taking up the outdoor tables and about twice that turned away. With chef and waitress that was it. Focus had to be on the 10 guests. The food was excellent and amazing value. The chef and his wife had just finished working in a nearby Michelin star restaurant so it was bound to be superb. Get there and support this couple. They wont disappoint!

Just discovered this new restaurant that opened a few months ago. The experienced chef prepares only fresh food from the market. Alone in the kitchen, he creates delicious fresh dishes and although the selection on the menu is rather slim, the culinary experience is memorable. One of best restaurants in Mouans -Sartoux. Refined food in an unpretentious atmosphere. Only critiques: menu only for adults, although the waitress said by booking in advance and saying that we come with kids, the chef would prepare special kids menu, ie fresh pasta. Forget about fries and ketchup! The single menu at 28 euros could be priced at 24-25 euros as it is in Mouans Sartoux, not Mougins.
