On route to a weekend getaway in the Loiret, we happened upon La Charrette with our trusty Michelin App. What a find! We each ordered a 'Menu'. Fabulous presentation, fresh products, good service... and yummy!
Fisrt you get very well welcomed when you get in. There are 3 range od menus we took the one at 29 euros. Plenty of French traditional dishes. We got fisrt an amuse bouche who was very good. They all the meals were very very good with lot of creativity in recipes and presentation. Service was a bit slow, but we were on Sunday so not such in a hurry. But service was very professional and done with lot of kindness. We had with us a kid of 3 years old and they have been very nice to give him,exactly what we wanted for him. So bottom line a very good French traditional restaurant at very affordable price !!
We picked up the whole restaurant with our group of about thirty people. Our menu was limited due to our size, but everything was excellent along with the service that worked so hard this evening. That was one of our best meals in France. My fish was one of the best I had in France. It was served over Risotto and had a smokey taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant is what you would expect from a small cozy French restaurant in a small village. Yum!
