Le Clos Normand - Montlaur

Vous ne vous trompez pas quand vous voyez une chambre pleine (environ 70 couvertures) où tout le monde est évidemment réservé. le repas était délicieux, nous nous sommes aimés et nous serons heureux de revenir à nos vacances d'été.

Frank and Nadine (formerly Restaurant de la Gare at St Rome de Cernon) have recently taken over this restaurant and have brought with them their wonderful menus and excellent dishes. After two years without anywhere to enjoy a really good meal at reasonable prices and from a wide selection of choices you can imagine our delight to find it is once again possible. If you have never tried Frank's cooking you are in for a wonderful surprise and a very enjoyable experience. Go now before word gets round because once his old customers here the news of his return it will be fully booked out. Lunch is served every day except Saturday and dinner only Thursday and Friday.

with a group, we spent a night in this hotel, close to the church. The room was perfect, without T.V. (not worse). The breakfast was hearty (with fruit salad). The lunch billed 16 euros (with kir, wine and coffee) was very rich, and very tasteful (combined salad, basquaise chicken with potatoes, and melba fishing). On behalf of the group, I apologize to the very friendly owner, for those who have distracted, or worse, who had reserved but who have not had the delicacy to prevent their non-come.

menus with 2 entries and homemade dessert cheese for an attractive price, is it possible? Go and go and see!

What a pleasure to find in our village of Montlaur, this couple of restaurateurs at whom we were going to eat at St rome de Cernon. Same team, same principle, same quality. unbeatable value/price. It's home and tastes good! highly recommended reservation. A little loud. We will return there regularly, we are 5 min walk now :)

reception and service without chichi. A room and a decor without a chichi. The plates are not giant with a lot of chichi. But here, a menu at 28 € , among others, with 1 cold entrance, 1 hot entrance, 1 dish, cheese and a great dessert, we are really hungry after. wine, a nice little card at very low prices. Besides, his reputation is no longer to be done, it's full every Sunday so think to book if you want to spend a very good time. I recommend this address closed eyes.

family meal: we were 4, we came because we knew that this restaurant had just been taken over by restaurateurs who had been at the establishment they had before. wonderful as before, neat cuisine, pleasant welcome, commercial gesture for this pleasure of reunion (aperitif and coffees offered,) fast service, just as it takes. Of course, we make our family canteen with selected dishes, excellent homemade desserts, all for a more than reasonable price.
