I have now been to this restaurant a half dozen times because the food is good and reasonably priced. Today's meal was no exception and it occurred to me that I should let other people know about this unpretentious restaurant. Although one finds the usual Chinese dishes at this restaurant, I believe that a lot of them are Vietnamese, which adds a little extra to the taste and presentation. As a vegetarian, I am delighted to find any number of menus to satisfy my liking of oriental food. Today was the vegetarian 'Crock Pot' with its large variety of vegetables and braised tofu served in a piping hot clay pot. I also had noodles with black mushrooms and broccoli in oyster sauce. All were wonderful. Not sure what spices were used in the cooking but each dish had its individual flavour. Anyone that is not vegetarian has an impressive choice on the menu, including some Thailand menus, which are extra hot.Nothing in any of the meals I have had would suggest that the ingredients came out of a tin.The decor of the place is simple and not lush Chinese. As it was Saturday, the owner's son, who is about 10 I would guess, took our order perfectly. We are always made to feel welcome. For two people, including one beer, our meal came to 36 euros for more than enough food.I shall continue to go to this 'Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant. ps It is possible to ask for take-away.

...though you could quite easily overlook it - tucked away from the main square with little to mark it out from the outside. Nor is the decor anything unusual on the inside - though the seating is certainly comfortable enough. But if you are after a reasonably priced well cuisined Asiatic food - then this is the place to come. In the Chinese dishes we sampled each had its unique flavours and consistency with every mouthful a delight to savour. I can't now recall exactly what we had but remember that at the time we were comparing our meal with the many such restaurants we have been to and found that it was up there with the very best.Unpretentious, reasonably prices, with a welcoming and efficient service, we were glad to have discovered it - and hope that many others will do likewise if they are in this vicinity.

A real hole in the wall mom and pop shop, Comptoir D'Asie is an unassuming Vietnamese

Very friendly owner and service! I had the Canh Chua Tom (with shrimp instead of fish), and it was delicious.
