This ticks all the boxes for a traditional French restaurant in the countryside; excellent service, lovely atmosphere and phenomenal food.We are a family of 5 and so had a lot of changing of minds with regarding food, but the staff were friendly and accommodating. My son and I shared one of the specials of the day which was the 800 gram Côte de boeuf, at €42 for two, was incredible. Cooked to perfection, packed full of flavour it was the best cut of beef I have ever eaten... My son said the same too and he is an experienced steak eater! There are tables seated outside under the trees, near the river with only a large Chateau on the opposite side of the river to hint at any form of civilisation, which give a cosy and intimate feel. We didn't look at any of the seating inside but if you come to the south of France in summer, why would you ever want to be inside? All in all this is a quaint, underrated restaurant with outstanding food in a one of a kind location. You will be disappointed to miss this unforgettable meal!
