We had a family dinner in this restaurant located in the picturesque village of Malaucène near the Ventoux. The restaurant has a nice terrace near a garden. We took the menu at 32€ and the food was good. Service was relatively fast and friendly. An enjoyable experience.

Delicious fois gras. We had fish dishes, duck and rabbit...all very good. Really wasn't paying close attention to the food for review purposes, but of the 6 of us, all were quite happy.

Great food and wine, nice service level and located just behind the church in Malaucène. Perfect separate room for 12 people in a Group.

As its address suggests, this restaurant sits in a walled garden high above the street, in an old building with floors above and below it. The location guarantees a quiet and peaceful lunching experience on a warm summer's day sitting on a shady terrace. If you think atmosphere is important, this place will please you.We chose the 30 euro menu, comprising three courses with adequate choices for all three. The cooking is of good quality and the presentation shows a degree of attention to detail which demonstrates the staff's interest in their culinary skills. Wines are available by the glass and are identified by name - not just bag-in-box!The garden is rather neglected and some attention here would improve the ambience since they have a great natural advantage intheir site.

We had a lovely meal here the children especially enjoyed the meals. The flavours in our food were delicious. Would visit again. The only thing that was slightly lacking was atmosphere.

It is very strange that this place, which such a good location and so many opportunities, can be so neglected. It can be splendid restaurant with a lovely terrace surrounded by a beautiful garden....but instead it is a basic place with rather good food, not expensive, but the garden....well in fact it is more a collection of weed that has taken over! The owners should do something about it!! With a few small adaptions, the restaurant and garden will be much better!

I have been dinning many times in this restaurant over the past 10 years. During summer, during winter .. I can tell that this place serve a Provençal food to die for ! The menu is display on blackboard and change every day, the produces are locally sourced and are what Provence as the best to offer. The chef is overly talented ! The dishes are elegantly presented, and all ingredients are cleverly harmonised. This chef as some serious cooking skills !! The menu 3 courses is very well proportioned and no one ever said that is wasn't enough food in plates. The food is simply stunning !!The restaurant is situated in the heart of Malaucene, and offer an amazing outside terrace surrounded by olive trees and Provencal garden. The service as been as always faultless, casual and very helpfull. If you are looking for a place to relax and enjoy top Provencal food, this is the restaurant to go. No doubt. Many thanks to the team. I will be back soon.

The diner was great and all my colleagues were more than satisfied after this evening. We had fresh "caillettes" or "tartare de truite de Sorgues" as starter. then "Pintade fermiere á la tapenade" or "rable de lapin aux Herbes". Everything was made from the day with fresh vegetables. We had the diner outside , so calm as you can really relax and enjoy the Provence atmosphere. Philippe Galas is a proud of sharing all specialities around the Mt Ventoux in term of meat, fish , fruits, vegetables... i love the "cremebrulee á la lavande" . Also is Wine menu is huge and focus on small domain to be discovered!
