We arrived at this attractive restaurant bordering the square in the picturesque village of Lussan at lunchtime. However, when the waitress asked us what we wanted and I asked if we could eat, she looked very surprised and said they were no longer serving. I expressed surprise as it was 1.15 and the restaurant was busy but not packed. The waiter said it was exceptional. I wasn't sure if they had run out of food or the chef had closed the kitchen but the meal served to the table next to us looked good. We ended up ordering just a dessert and cheese but had to send the bread back as it was dry and not freshly cut. So after paying 20 euros for that and 2 teas, we left. As other reviews have praised the service, I assume it was a unusually bad day, certainly the staff didn't make us feel like valued customers.
