this is not just a meal, it is a crazy experience. the greeting was very charming. then prepare you with a bub and a mallet and your meal is served. I had a crab that was served with potatoes that took me to eat the meal. I enjoyed both the experience and the eating. they are available a selection of other meal times, not only crab, but the tasty / picking/eating experience was much fun.

authentic very cheap crab restaurant. from the hotel, but unfortunately the restaurant was completely booked. it was cold, but decided to eat there anyway. the waiter brought me a jacket and I sat outside on a table. I ate a spider crab with bread with little ones. kartoffeln and a beautiful beer. it was great. call them first and reserve them.

empty shell crab. good work there were kartoffels and broth, otherwise we would have been very hungry! avoid them.

We visited the restaurant for lunch with friends who had been before and recommended the place. We were not disappointed! From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. The staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, but not pushy....We felt so relaxed we really didn't want to leave. The food was superb. I had oysters to start, which were fresh tasting and delicious. For the main course, I chose L'Amiral', which was half a crab and an amazing abundance of langoustines. My other half chose Le croustillant de crabe' to start absolutely delicious; and then Les Ormeaux de Molène' abalone. Neither of us had tried abalone before but it was amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed. The atmosphere in the restaurant was so pleasant. I had been nervous about ordering something as awkward sounding to eat as a crab in its shell but the young man who waited on us was so helpful, showing me how to smash it with the mallet, that there was no problem at all. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and can't wait until our next visit.

Went with a big group so we chose from a limited menu for simplicity. I went for the crab risotto followed by the fish of the day as I didn't think I could manage a whole crab! I was pleased with my choice as when...the crabs came to the table they were huge! It was fun to watch people tackle them with a hammer but I preferred my lovely fresh fish with vegetables. For desert we had a local pudding sadly I didn't catch what it was called but it was delicious! Overall the service was very good and the atmosphere was really homely and felt like a family kitchen.
